DEWALT DCW600B 20V MAX XR CMPCT Metal Fixed Base Router

I have always had a good experience with Dewalt tools and when I needed a router, I choose the Dewalt and I have been very impressed. The tool has good solid feel and is very easy to use. While it is very powerful, it a steady in your hand and easy to maneuver when cutting with no kickback. The battery life is exceptional; I was able to mortise 8 doors and casings on a single charge with plenty to spare.

If you work with wood and have other Dewalt 20v tools you need this router. I have been looking at buying a cordless router for a about a year to make smoothing edges easier and more convenient while being comfortable. This guy does the trick, plus it's half the price as one from a big box store. I have two different sizes of batteries a 2ah and an 8ah and the router is still balanced and easy to use. Don't know why it took me so long to make this purchase.

Good motor

I have been using the DeWalt DCW600 router in various carpentry and finishing jobs, and I can definitely say that it is one of the best tools I have bought. In addition, battery life is quite good, allowing complete work sessions without constant interruptions. One of the strongest points of this tool is its versatility and configuration capability. It can be easily adapted to different accessories and setups, which greatly expands its possibilities of use. Something I especially value is that it integrates well with other standard equipment, and it is even very easy to incorporate it into tables or custom-made devices. This makes it a very flexible tool for both professional use and custom workshops or DIY projects. The build quality is solid, as is usual with the brand, and it conveys long-term durability. As a point to consider (although I don’t see it as a major disadvantage), for extremely heavy work or continuous industrial production, a larger or corded router might be preferred. But within its category, the performance is outstanding. Conclusion: It is a powerful, precise, easy-to-use, and extremely versatile router. It stands out especially for its ability to adapt to different configurations and its integration with custom systems. Would I buy it again? Without a doubt. It is a tool that adds a lot of value and quickly becomes essential in the workshop.

Great router!

Very satisfied with this palm router, I use it for commercial fabrication work and it has performed great- not to heavy, good balance, on/off and speed control are at your fingertips. It will drain a 2amp battery quick! The 10-12 amp batteries make it top heavy but I use the Dewalt 20v on all my tools.

Works great, no issues. Wish I would of purchased it sooner.

It's such a pleasure using this tool. Great quality, easy setup, convenient size, smart motor stop, great grip, changing depth is smooth and accurate. This is truly one of my favorites.

This is my first router and it’s a fantastic piece of kit – very powerful and super easy to use. I’ve in used it on a few DIY projects so far but I am very impressed. Good price too, I managed to buy here for £30 less than anywhere else online.
