Exceedingly capable homelab streaming and remote rendering card.
Purchased for a homelab rack server running Linux and Plex and some other tools. Highly recommend for a lower cost modern high performance card, it isn't power hungry, and is very stable while it handles transcoding for multiple streams. The only downside I found was that HDMI output for large resolutions was highly limited due to the output path being native for display port and the HDMI bridge being lower speed; my display was just above the capability of the HDMI output, so I had to switch to the HDMI output from the CPU chipset.

Replacing hardware no longer support in Linux Kernel
Shipped out fast and received earlier than expected. Used it to replace a Nvidia 1040Ti in my TrueNAS/Plex server since the card was no longer supported while the A380 was. No issues since making the change.

Great Media Encoding Transcoding GPU
I like this GPU for its media handling capabilities. It can encode, decode or transcode AV1 along with other codecs rapidly which was my primary reason for getting the A380. The 3D performance isn't award winning when I tried gaming with it, but lighter lower requirement or low graphic gaming worked really well. It's not a Cyberpunk 2077 GPU unless you like lower FPS gaming, just letting people know. Stability is much better considering Intel has spend a lot of time improving the drivers over the years. I'm happy about that. It does what I need it to do quite well, so it's a great lower powered GPU with a good value attached to it that I would recommend. Power consumption is pretty good, however the one thing I didn't like is the above average idle power consumption. That's the only issue I had with it and is why I reduced 1 star from my review. I even did all of the recommend adjustments that works for some, but it didn't do anything for me unfortunately.

Good GPU for price
TLDR: great GPU especially if you can get it for less than 140$, I heavily recommend you do NOT buy this gpu IF you don't have a pc that supports REBAR. Tech savvyness WILL be required. Now long review it will be terrible if you don't have rebar. So only newer systems. Like only ryzen and newer Intel cpus. Keep in mind as well if you want extra performance for older games you'll have to do extra work with dxvk. That was the only way I could get my old old games working properly and at the expected performance level. New DX12 games work GREAT no problems so far and I had expected performance and even exceeded in some areas. Especially in the power consumption it was only using like 60 watts max usage but usually way below that. Ray tracing performance is great for this price point even beating the rtx 2060 in doom dark ages. Overall to conclude its great I heavily recommend it if you are building a newer budget system or if upgrading from a 1070 and below. It didn't disappoint. Just keep in mind I'm seeing the best case scenario since I play mostly old games. That I than add Vulkan to so I get good performance in most of the games I personally play. Best 140$ I could have spent.

No HDMI prior to kernel loading if rebar/above 4g enabled
Purchased this to use for hardware encoding/decoding and object detection using the OpenVino framework in Frigate. Card probably works fine, but there's no signal on the HDMI port prior to the kernel loading when rebar/above 4G decoding are enabled, which makes troubleshooting problematic with a KVM over IP that uses HDMI. Very disappointed.

Outstanding value.
I don't think any card comes close to this. For the value for just over $100, you're getting a very usable, playable gaming card. I had a older. R270. This runs circles around it.

3 monitors work, but 4 monitors don't.
Why make so many display ports if they don't work and glitch when you connect all the monitors? Let the manufacturer install as many ports as it can handle. This card doesn't work with the maximum number of monitors; it simply switches off via its ports. But for simple tasks, I think it's a good card.

Great for transcoding.
No much to write about the card. Works as intended. I do not think it needs the six pin in terms of draw, but is required for it to work. Would have been nice just to be powered off the PCI slot. Anyways, works fine with Proxmox (need to hack out IO commands for pass through - many guides out there) and works well with Plex. Great low cost, low power solution for transcoding needs.

Used for transcoding in unraid. Really quiet and capable little card.

I like this video card a lot. I'm not a gamer, so I cannot judge how this card performs while playing games. I'm a graphic designer and I create images using Adobe software. This ARC A380 card does its job very well. Combining this with a motherboard that supports resizable BAR and installing the latest drivers, results in a very smooth experience, despite its rather modest specifications. I have another computer with a nvidia RTX with more or less same specifications, which operates at the same speed, but costs twice as much. For content creating, the ARC A380 does the job at an unbeatable price. And it's very quiet.
