Works great, less waste
I bought these to reduce waste and I'm not disappointed. They are a better value than buying the entire filter over and over. The water tastes great, and the system was easy to set up and use. I recommend!

Water tastes fine, seems more sanitary than the 6 month replacement filters
Before trying this I tried the ordinary replacement filters and the blue ones that last for about 6 months. I live in an area with good water quality, but the plumbing in my home is new and made the water taste weird. All of these filters worked well to improve the taste of my tap water, but I appreciate that these will result in less plastic waste. I wanted to like the blue filters, and honestly, they worked fine, but I do think the pitcher needs to be washed well with hot soapy water at least once a month because I have found pink slime mold growing in different filter pitchers multiple times over the years. It’s just the nature of plastic to harbor biofilms, and not changing the filter or washing the pitcher for six months is not sanitary. I have some misgivings about the nonwoven material that the replacement pouches are made of in terms of microplastic exposure, but I like that the carbon is from coconut husks, not animal-derived bone char.

Easy to use
Easy to use. I was afraid charcoal would be lose, but it’s like a tea bag material making refills easy. Glad to be reducing my plastic waste.

Easy to install
This was the first time that I tried these filter inserts. They are quite easy to install, work with and they work great in my water filter. I’ll definitely be recommending these and will purchase again. We have a well and although I’m told I don’t need a filter, I’m still using these for us and the dogs.

Very slow
I like the idea of the reusable plastic cup but with only one, small hole it takes a long time to filter. It works, but plan ahead.

Great sub for the original filters
The quality of these new filters are so good. You can really tell a difference in the water versus the original filters. At times I would get filters that were defective so that led me to looking at different options. Once I seen these and noticed that I would be using less plastic, I knew I wanted to try it. I do not regret that decision whatsoever.
