I bought this to wear as a backup to my traditional faja (e.g., when it was in the wash). Although it is not as compressive as a real faja, it was very decent and provided nice smoothing. It is pretty breathable and not uncomfortable under clothes in the summer. It has only one row of clasps under the zipper, so no sizing adjustments are possible. I ended up sizing down from a large to a medium (190 lbs, 5'8", 43 inch hips). I have struggled to find a faja that covered my full torso since mine is longer than average, even for my height, but this one covers right up to my bra line. The gusset worked well for peeing and otherwise remained comfortably closed, but I needed to take the whole garment off to do anything else. Reasonably comfortable for shapewear. For the price, definitely worth a try.

Hooray Maidenform! After trying several long line foundations to wear for my sport…this piece is the cat’s meow. It is comfortable, hooks and eyes work well, zipper works fine and it keeps me cool and neatly groomed. Order your correct size…the sizes are reliable. I wore this all day without any discomfort. It has just the right amount of compression & shape!

Product works GREAT! This really slims you down in all the right places, without leaving your flab spilling over the top or out the bottom, and it's comfortable! The down side is the bathroom. It has a generous opening so theoretically you can go to the bathroom by simply sliding the fabric out of the way....but....I don't know if I can really pee without getting at least some of it on the garment...so, not sure I will be wearing this to my upcoming event....if I were just going to wear it for a few hours, it would be just fine...so I recommend the product for sure...but either make sure you have really good aim, or select it only for relatively brief events!

This item is no joke if you want to be smooth out and you want to be sucked in and you want support this is the garment for you. It is extremely supportive. The appearance is nice it’s very breathable it is not thick at all there is an opening to use the bathroom, And overall, it is good quality!

This shaper was good in ways I didn’t expect. It lifted my large chest and gave me good posture (though my back did hurt a little while later- my chest is 36DDD for context & I’m 5’2-got the medium). It also cinched me in right below my chest & smoothed everything out. Onto the bad: it made my butt look flatter. Worst of all, it did nothing for my mid to lower stomach. I’m still looking for a shaper that actually has real control like my grandmother’s girdle lol. The material needs to stretch less and be thicker in order to cinch me in at the waist and thighs. In addition, if you wear something thin or tight, the seams of the shorts show through. So, this shaper is good depending on what you’re buying it for- though ultra firm it definitely is not.

Most of these types of garments from large well known companies like Maidenform are junk that does nothing. This is not that garment. This is power mesh used in all the right ways. It snatches in your waist perfectly, and comfortably. I am 5'3", 205 pear shaped and I purchased a Large, I normally wear xxl tops and pants, sometimes xl. I'm 16 months Post Op for Gastric Sleeve and I needed a garment to hold in my sagging loose belly without causing backfat/spill over from the top of the garment. I'm happy to say this one, while not a full back garment, still does a fantastic job of hitting right at the bra line in the back and not causing any issues between the two. The compression is fantastic, and the garment is still easy to get on. The straps have a clip so if you aren't keen on trying to pee through the opening, you don't have to get naked to go, this is a HUGE plus in my book.

I’m 5’7” and 143 pounds. But I’m 52 and I’ve had two kids so I have that mom pooch that you can’t get rid of no matter how small you are or how much you exercise. I have a wedding to attend and just happened to find this product by chance. I have several other Maidenform spanx type products that are great but they still don’t hold that pooch in all the way. This item holds in everything and smooths and lifts the butt. I was worried that the zipper could be seen but it is not noticeable at all. My waist it perfect and my stomach is completely flat. I measured for a medium which I have in another Maidenform item but bought a small to see if it gave me a bit more sculpting and it fit amazingly well and did just what I hoped it would. Lifted butt and flat stomach!!! Love it!!!
