Best ink ever
This ink has been a revelation to me. It is perfect. It flows beautifully and when it is exhausted it stops. No gradual fading like most inks. It is the best ink I have ever used, and believe me, I have used many during my 85 years. I completely endorse all your reviewers' comments. I just can't stop writing. And writing. And writing.

Good for me (beginner)
Bought this ink to use with a refillable fountain pen. I bought a small bottle to try, and as expected it was a teeny 10ml bottle (see pic with a coin for reference). I find the actual bottle itself a bit annoying to use, as its shape makes it a little bit difficult for me to refill the cartridge. As someone who is new to this, hopefully I can figure out a less messy way to do it in the future.I also plan on using it with a dip pen and when it runs low, will probably need to decant it into another container. Asides from this, I chose this ink for its general abilities - good opacity, and an ink that was easy to clean for pen maintainence. I have found both to be true thus far. With regards to drying time, I find it takes a bit longer than I expect (but please bear in mind I am very impatient, and have come from mainly using ballpoint pens!)I am not sure how this compares to other inks out there, but on the whole, I am pretty satisfied with this one and would not be averse to buying more when I run out!

good with broad nibs but a little watery and lost with ef/f nibs
A nice colour ink that flows well but is ideally suited to broader nibs. The colour is lost and weak through fine nibs because of the shading but it dries better than it looks when wet.I use for drawing so I can get lots of ink down if needed, it's okay for writing but can appear watery on certain papers and using certain nibs. It really shines with a broad wet nib. It washes to lovely tones. It completely washes away if you wash it straight after drawing, leave it a little longer to leave residual drawn lines.Good size bottle too.

Gorgeous ink
Having used this in a dip pen and a fountain pen, I have noticed this is a lovely ink to work with. I've had no surface tension when using it with a fountain pen converter, and it works well with dip pens as well. It's a lovely deep blue with a purple sheen. It is a wet ink when used in a fountain pen, and could bleed through your paper if it is completely saturated, but don't let that put you off if you're looking for a nice "blurple" colour like this is.

Perle Noire is a wonderfully deep black ink
Perle Noire is a wonderfully deep black ink. It's immediately displaced Waterman Intense Black as my go to black, both for writing and for calligraphy. It doesn't noticably feather on cheap paper, unlike the other deep blacks I've used (looking at you, Scheaffer Black) and dries reasonably quickly. My only criticism is that the "D" bottles are a fiddle to refil fountain pens from once the ink starts to get a bit low. I think they're intended for use with dip pens, where the stability from the wide base matters more.

Bought as a sample an everyday black ink search.
There are a few “true black” ones that are on the market unlike Quink which is more grey and this one is one of my favourites - if not the favourite.I have been searching for a good black ink for everyday use and I like this one, it writes a little bit more “wet” than other inks with the same pen but not really noticeable - but more in the sense that the nib feels smoother rather than the ink being more (ie wet) - it’s almost like a tiny lubricant - which I prefer without using more ink.

This ink is fantastic. It is so smooth
This ink is fantastic. It is so smooth, flows well, and is wet. It works great in EVERY fountain pen I have, which is saying something. It is very black, and I think it dries relatively quickly. It is easy to refill pens directly from the bottle. This is definitely my favourite ink and I have put it into all of my pens.

Finest ink ever used!
Have tried many inks and they all seem to perform differently in different pens. For example the Lamy inks are superb in their pens however do not seem to like a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck pen. This ink is outstanding, I found the flow is perfectly consistent, the black is very rich and deep and it dries quickly. I cannot recommend the ink enough. If you like to use a fountain pen you will understand ink is not ink!
