Easy to use
Sprout (our cat) still doesn't like the harness, but of all of the ones we've tried he at least tolerates this one. And oddly when he sees it he gets excited that he's going out. So from a cat that won't tolerate any other harness a half hearted paws up.From our perspective I'll note three things, all fairly important. First, this harness is much easier to get on than any other we've tried. Ease of use is important because kitties hate to be fiddled with. You slide it over their head, run the belly part under em, and connect one clip (there are two but there's no need to undue both when you remove it).The second thing is a slight detractor but not a deal killer. Over time the straps slip causing the harness to fit loosely. During the course of a hours yard time it would loosen some and when remove it we readjust the straps. All's well! The third point that more or less will address your concerns regarding the last point, your cat have a hard time getting out of this harness! It secures the cat better than any other we've tried.

I trained my cat to travel with the harness, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
First of all, for all the skeptics, I am not a paid review nor did I have any contact with the producer or the seller. I doubt I live in the same continent with them. I trained my cat to walk with a harness using this one. It is extremely comfortable for my cat, she seems to be able to get around and jump pretty well. I take my cat for two walks a day. One evening, something scared my cat and she ran, because I trust my cat and I don't pull her when she gets scared. I was searching her for an hour, and she came back without the harness. It turns out that the strap got stuck under a wheel of a parking car, and she managed to escape the harness. For me it is important for the cat to be able to get rid of the harness in case of emergency. I was so glad to see it, and we found the harness. I am going to purchase a new harness for my new cat :).

15" size up
Seems fine. Don't like how you have to put it on, hard to get both legs through. If your cat measures 15" get the Large. I have one larger cat (healthy weight) that measures 15" and one smaller that is chonky and also measures 15". Got a m for the smaller framed one and l for bigger, ended up returning the M because it was just a tad too tight on him. Seems secure but can't vouch for if they can back out (I'm sure they can) or not, I'm not at that stage with them yet and you don't ever want them to go backwards while training because once they learn how to get out they probably won't forget.Gonna order another in L when my return processes. In general id say size up if not sure because the snap straps are adjustable so you have some leway with making it smaller but not vice versa.

He can’t wait to go outside.
So far I’ve been really lucky with taking this boy (black kitty) outside with his harness. He stops with the slightest resistance and never tries to get loose. My big guy(orange kitty) did, however, manage to back out of his and run to the bushes. I guess it depends on the cat and it’s personality if they’re going to break free or not. If you have a brave docile kitty like my black kitty, it’s good. If they frighten easily, I’d say it’s not worth the risk of losing your furry child.

Kitty harness with leash
Lightweight for cooler months and easy to use however kitty abhors it so manages to escape easilyEven tried it on him before going outside but too much hassle and frustration for Mr Black CatDetermined 1 yr old acts as if it’s a straitjacket. Not worth struggling with him so keeping it on holdTy
