A: If you're able to push down and turn, then do so. If not, try the new code or the original if that doesn't work. Also, be sure that you followed the instructions on which way to turn the lock while setting the code, as different steps have different directions.

A: It doesn’t work, every time I try to change the code the lock it’s stuck and stops working. Then I had to buy a new one it sucks

I wanted a small lock for a locker and specifically went with a combination lock because I didn't want another tiny key to keep track of. Being able to set my own three-digit combination makes it much easier to remember than getting a lock with some random preset code. It's compact enough for a gym locker, backpack or luggage without adding much bulk. I wouldn't use a small lock like this where I needed serious high-security protection. That's not really what it's designed for. For keeping a locker or bag closed and discouraging casual access, it works well.
