Sturdy and great looking.
This 5 guitar stand/rack is said to have thick padding, and this is true, it also looks great.I like how the back of it kind of snaps into place andstays put.I actually have 7 guitars sitting in it , carefully jammedin there lol.I have a 7 guitar rack and it is just way to big formy taste, and doesn't look as nice as this one.I would definitely buy this one again.

Decent Reasonable Cost Stand for Home or Studio
Overall I think this is a pretty good stand for use in less demanding environments, such as your home practice space or perhaps a studio. I don't think it's beefy enough for more demanding stage use, but I mean for $35-$40 we can't expect it to be like pro-grade touring stands costing 3-5 times as much. One thing I really, really like about it is that it has nice foam padding everywhere -- on the bottom bars, the top bar, and even on the little top cross bars where the neck rests. Most similar stands do not have the little top cross bars padded, and I'd be really pissed if one of my guitars or basses got the neck scratched from them.I bought the 5-guitar size. One thing to consider is if I actually put 5 guitars or basses in it, they will be pretty close to each other and I'd have to be careful when pulling them out or putting them in not to hit the adjacent guitars. I typically only keep about 3 guitars and basses out at once for practice or projects, and spacing them every other slot in it is perfect. A typical full-body acoustic guitar takes up two slots to allow enough clearance. It's beefy enough to hold 5 guitars and basses if needed, mine isn't wobbly at all. I like how they have a full rectangular bottom section instead of the two separate bars many similar stands have, I think that makes it more stable.Just take your time when assembling to fit it together properly and tightly. But don't over-tighten the screws, they are not heavy duty steel and will strip, they are fine to just finger tighten without being silly about it.Unfortunately the cut on on bottom foam sections on mine were not very precise and left gaps on the two sides where the pieces come together. I wrapped the gaps with some black protection tape (kind of like electrical tape but thinner and less glue), and that hid the gaps fine. But still a little disappointing. So I would recommend this stand for lighter use, but if you're going to beat it up on the road or something, I don't think it would take that. I'd give it 5 stars for being great for the value, except I'm deducting a star for the messy cut of the foam on the bottom section.

Very solid. Great footprint.
I bought the 5 guitar version. This is far better than any of the other multi racks similar to this I have purchased in the past.Super easy to assemble. Very solid. Good design. I cannot see how to beat one this for the price.

Best guitar storage solution ever!
Look here, we’re just going to make this easy. If you have to ask if you need one of these than you do. Just face it. For the money, this is the one you need. It’s compact enough to fit in your living space, yet big enough to be stable and safe. It folds down for easy storage or transport. And it’s light enough that even the laziest of roadies won’t cry!

Meets my needs - nothing special
It functions as described. Pretty average compared to other models I've owned. Fit was a bit sloppy. A little tweaking and I was able to get it a bit sturdier. It goes together very easy. For the price not a bad rack. It works so no complaints.

Excellent products
The price is fair and the product is excellent, but it could be better.

It works
It works like it should. Only thing is, anyone reading this with an odd shaped guitar, be cautious because my BC Rich Beast doesn't fit very well. It does, but the one side is touching the ground.

A little rickety.. not super stable
This was so close to being perfect but short sighted engineering makes it unstable. Had the front facing “feet” been a little longer than the back ones, it would create an angle so your guitars leaned back securely. Unfortunately, the base is flat making them a little unstable. The ability to fold up has no value unless you’re using it on gigs and, if you are- buy something more stable than this. The price was right and I guess it’s ok for home use but be careful with it. I’m debating returning it. On the plus side, it’s easy to assemble and the padding is great. If only it tilted back a little….
