Handmade Waldorf Doll- Elsee 12", Soft Girl Rag Doll with Cute Stuffed Plush, Ideal for Babies & Toddlers

I was looking for a completely soft bodied doll and *knockoffs* of this doll kept popping up on my searches. This one is the real deal. Soft body, sewn in hair and eyes, removable clothing, and the repair kit is perfect! A bit pricier but we’ll worth it. This doll will last.

The BlissfulPixie Handmade Waldorf Doll- Hanne 12", Soft Girl Rag Doll with Cute Stuffed Plush, Ideal First is an absolutely wonderful doll for both young and older children. She comes carefully and protectively packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with several accessories including her own teddy bear. The doll is beautifully sewn together and all the fabrics are very soft. The clothes are real fabric not cheap polyester/nylon and completely removable and the sweater she is wearing is an actual knit cardigan with different stitches and real buttons and working buttonholes. The little shoes are knit as well and also unbutton or just slide off. I love the doll and am in awe of the cardigan.The other accessories she comes with are a set of battery operated fairy lights, a small size crochet hook, a small wooden handle blush brush, two little real child size hair clips, some other color hair fiber samples, and a cute little sewing kit in a plastic compact. All these things are in a handy fabric drawstring bag. The sewing kit has basic quality supplies and they are a bit hard to get out of the compact but it is so cute and very handy to slip in a pocket or bag. It also encourages you to want to make more clothes for her because she is just that kind of a doll that you want her to have a whole wardrobe.The only thing I didn't like about package are the instructions that come with her. Good to know she is not machine washable but all the other parts were security alerts and statements and rather alarming. They went on for half a page about how dangerous the enclosed sewing kit is and it makes me almost want to never use it even though I know how to sew. The other half of the page is about how a child may be allergic to the fabrics of the doll and how to do all these tests before giving it to a child. It was all rather unsettling. Still I really like the doll and am hoping to find some time soon to make more clothes for her.This is a very high quality, heirloom type doll and worth the money they are asking for her.

I meant to give this doll to a toddler for her 2nd birthday, but upon opening it I think I might have to hold off another year. The doll is very well made, but would probably do better with the gentler treatment of an older child rather than a rough and tumble 2-year old, due to the moveable limbs and the hair. If you are giving this to a toddler or very young child, consider getting one of the doll styles with shorter hair as it will be less likely to get tangled/matted or damaged while playing.The doll comes with a small sewing kit in a container that looks like a makeup compact. If you are gifting to a child under the age of 10, either remove that piece first or make sure adult supervision is present when they open the gift, as it contains items not safe for small children.This doll is very well made and beautiful. The doll has so much hair- a lot more than I realized! The limbs are separate from the body but connected pieces, so they can move. The clothes are all removable, including the shoes, and the doll wears a pair of bloomers/undies under her dress. The hair on the doll is tied into a ponytail using a hair elastic, which appears to be removable. The hair can technically be trimmed into a different length if you wish, but I wouldn’t recommend letting a child do that!

I got this Waldorf doll for a cute little toddler, who, I hope, is going to love this adorable little doll. Her hair is wild and curly, and soft, and her charming cottage-core clothing, including a handknit cardigan, are just so sweet!She came with some accessories, which you will probably want to remove from the packaging before giving to a little one- such as the sewing kit (for repairs) and a string of battery operated lights. I'm not quite sure what the string lights are for, but I'm guessing they are to decorate the beautiful gift bag, with the clear window for gifting the doll- it would make quite a presentation to receive this doll, in a beautiful bag, surrounded by little fairy lights.This doll is made from really high quality materials, including a cloth body and nice fabric clothing. All appears to be hand made, and very beautiful.She also comes with a tiny teddy bear, and a crochet tool to add colors to her hair- (you may want to look for a video to learn how to use this tool, if you choose to do this).There are also small buttons on the dolls sweater, as well as her little crocheted shoes, which you may want to remove, if you feel your child could remove them, or chew on them. They seem to be attached very securely though.

I got this Handmade Waldorf Doll for my Granddaughter. I chose Bunny and it is so beautiful. I can't believe that it is all handmade. Comes with a sheet of paper explaining some things and says it comes with scissors and a needle to add your own touch, you get some colored and some plain hair in a clear bag. She is lightweight and arms and legs can move around and she is just so very soft and huggable.I just can't explain how beautifully made this Doll is. Has a very real ,small sweater on and bloomers and a dress and shoes that come off too. The Doll is made of soft material that is just amazing. Also, the doll has a little teddy bear and a compact with make-up. Comes in a nice box. THIS DOLL IS VERY WELL MADE.This Doll would look wonderfully sitting on a shelf somewhere. Just Amazing! You have to see it for yourself. So much detail put into this Doll.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Just lovely. My Granddaughter is just gonna love it.I know the price seems high, but every piece on it is handmade. I believe it is definitely worth the price.
