This system works. For the few extra dollars to get both a home-based alarm announcer AND alarm notifications on your phone when away from your property is good versatility. Set-up was easy and straightforward, requiring an app (Ho-Smart) and 2.4 wifi at the receiver. My sensor is only 150ft away so I can't speak of long distance operation.

I use these “driveway monitors” on three properties. At my home, I used them outside and inside the gate to alert me to visitors, but I also use them in a mountain location to be alerted to wildlife. And at my office. I’ve tried about every decent product out there over the past five or 10 years. Definitely the solar products seem to work really well and eliminate the transmitters from just randomly stopping working and you having to figure that out and then go change batteries. However, this emacros product has become my absolute favorite. Because of the Wi-Fi integration of the receiver, and solar powered transmitters. Wi-Fi integration is a great touch. Where you can control the receiver, ringtones, etc. from your phone. You can also get alerts to your phone, which is nice for me when I am away from the mountain property. All the other solar products I have used are audible only notifications from the receiver itself. That basically won’t work at all if you’re away from the receiver, or if you would like to turn the receiver tone off to not bother other people in your household. That Wi-Fi integration was a no-brainer to me, because the receiver is typically installed inside a house. But I still have not seen any other manufacturers do that yet. Some other nice things about this product is that they come pre-programmed. Transmitter to receiver. So they work out of the box. Some of the others you have to jump through some fairly poor programming that is not really user-friendly. And lastly, I did have some issues with one of my receivers after I ordered them. I gave the manufacturer a chance and reached out to them first. It took a minute, but they responded and shipped me a new product immediately. I very much appreciate that level of service. At the moment, I think these are the best on the market. And a very fair price. Cheers, Matt

Bought our first eMacros system in 2019. Our property is wooded on one side and fenced on the other, so people only access our property via the driveway. We wound up buying two sensors. The first sensor is by our driveway entrance. The second sensor is further down the driveway about 100 feet. We have lots of mammals and birds that set off the sensors, but we know we don’t need to be concerned about humans unless BOTH sensors go off. The receiver is about another 300 feet down the drive in our foyer...it works perfectly. Since both sensors had stopped working, I called eMacros and communicated with Ella several times. She answered every question and concern swiftly and clearly. This is THE best customer service I have received in a long, long time! It is worth buying this system just for the customer service! I wound up buying a newer system with, again, two sensors. So nice to have the added security again.

This unit really works well. It also sends a notice to my cell phone so I know when anyone enters my driveway, even when I am not at home.

We've had these on our private road for 2 years now and they still work great, surviving the harsh Iowan elements without issues! We've never even had to change batteries. We have two different alarm sounds on two of these units so we know if someone is actually driving up our road, or is it just an animal, or wind on one of the units. In other words, one alarm sound on the first one and a different alarm sound on the second one. They are about one city block away from our house and still work great. This is a great product and I highly recommend it!

I have two of these. The first one is much better than the second. The second has minimal eye range (regardless of the distance settings) and very narrow beam width. The first one has an eye distance range well over 100 feet even with the adjustment set at 30 feet. It also has a wider eye beam than the second one. At the end of the day, they work and the notifications have been fantastic. I will probably get one more sensor. Pros: 1. Long eye range. It picks up my neighbors over 130’ away. 2. Easy to connect to the control. 3. Small and not easily noticeable. 4. Good battery life. Cons: 1. Narrow motion beam. 15 degrees or less on either side of the eye. 2. Super sensitive (pro and con). Picks up small birds, rabbits, and squirrels. 3. Instructions say to mount 12 inch above the ground. At this height, you get all the wildlife. I relocated to 24 inches and lost most of the functionality, so I put it back.

I highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable outdoor alarm system.

I have purchased two sets of these unit units, the round 2024 version and the rectangular 2025 version. I’m able to pair both motion sensors to both base stations. It has great range even indoors and their customer support is surprisingly good. I had an issue with a base station continually re-pairing with my phone multiple times a day. They sent me a replacement unit. Multiple ringtones, including voice with options like garage, driveway, back yard, front and fun ones like bird song, dog barks and gunshots.

These work awesome to tell you when people or animals are coming down your drive way .The solar charging panels on top don't work too great in the winter as they get covered in snow ,so I take they inside in the winter months .You can set the 3 different alarms with different songs so you know which ones are going off .

Have used this product for about 16 months now with no complaints about the performance. Exactly what we were looking for. A few months ago the charging adaptor cord must have gotten bumped, for the indoor receiver. After that we had to just run on batteries as the usb connecter inside the receiver was broken. A quick calculation determined that running just on the batteries was not economically a wise move. We reached out to eMACROS about our issue and they were very prompt about getting back to us. After they thought about our situation they decided to replace our indoor receiver at no cost to us. Our new receiver arrived promptly and works well. Great product and service!

Never got the chance to use it. Will review it when the new one comes.
