Matita Amazing Colour (Pack of 10)

These are great fun! I am a flute teacher and I am using them as a prize for the student who has made most progress or worked hardest over the term. They are all working really hard!!

The pencils do what they say..change colour with the heat of the hand - on the outside. I was a little silly thinking the core changed colour on the paper! Hence - disappointed. Otherwise they are amusing but the user loses interest very quickly.

My students all love these colour changing pencils! Only problems are that you have to rub them quite hard to achieve the colour change and they do have a tendency to snap quite easily. Great idea though, especially popular with younger students.

I was very disappointed in the pack of Mood Pencils I received recently. The illustration shown above displayed 10 assorted coloured Mood Pencils. I received 10 pencils in a plain oversized plastic pack (no box) and the pencils consisted of 7 pale orange, two green and one pink. Definitely not an even distribution. These pencils are part of a present for one of my Granddaughters for Christmas. I am most dissatisfied with this product.

So, these pencils are supposed to be "amazing" then... I think the ones I received must have been the wrong ones, because mine were far from amazing, in fact they are downright rubbish. The colours change almost imperceptibly and only if you hold them so long that your hand gets uncomfortably warm. They go SLIGHTLY paler but it's hardly what any person with a firm grasp of the English language would call "amazing". Furthermore, the product is described as a "pack of 10". Mine came loose in a jiffy bag. The final nail in the coffin for this product and this seller for me was the fact that the ten pencils I received were nearly all the same colours - I had five (FIVE!) purple pencils, three green ones, and one each of blue and pink. Hardly the assortment of ten different colours I was led to believe I would be receiving from the sales photo.I am very disappointed as I bought this product as a gift for a musician friend of mine for Christmas, thinking the pencils would come in a neat pack to wrap and assuming that I would receive what was described (properly assorted colours, which actually changed when touched...). Given the weak product and the poor quality presentation, I don't think I dare give them to him, without risking extreme embarrassment. If the delivery speed had been better, I might have had time to enact damage limitation and find him something different, but I fear he will now need to wait for part of his gift till after Christmas.I gave an extra star for the fact that they were actually pencils. But everything else about them is a misnomer. A resounding thumbs down, I'm afraid.
