Plasti-kote 26102 400ml Radiator Satin Spray Paint - White

WARNING BEFORE USE: Maybe this applies to all of them, but this stuff sprays thick droplets, I am used to motor rattle cans, this stuff goes everywhere, cover the entire floor area as it stays in the air and drops to the ground, had to use paint cleaner and scrub the floor to remove, don't make the same mistakes, otherwise good covering and sprays evenly and easy, one coat was enough for me, how you cover the surrounding of the radiator, make sure you do the same to the entire floor area.

Needed this to paint some radiator and boiler pipes to blend them in. Did a lovely job without primer in 2 coats but damn the over spray dust will get everywhere so bring a bag of wipes when you use it.

Worked well for the job

I needed to repaint a bathroom radiator which had rusted due to years of wet towels put on it. I have hand painted rads before and it's a dreadful long process that always ends in a poor finish with drips and runs. This, on the other hand is superb. I removed the rad and gave it a clean and sprayed three coats. It's a small radiator so took about 30 seconds each time just spraying slow and steady from about 10 cm away gives a perfect finish.No brushes to wash, no waiting hours between coats. So if you have rads to paint and even if you have some old paint you want to use up then don't, save yourself the bother and get this instead.The only question for me now is how will my repainted radiator stand up to daily life in a damp bathroom. It'll be interesting to see how long until it starts to rust again.

I have used this spray paint before and been very pleased with the results. For some reason this time the finished colour is more of a creamy off-white than a real white. Application was over a very good bright white previous paint, so it is not an issue of coverage. Comparing this to other radiators sprayed at various times in the past, they are all a much brighter white. I will have to re-do this radiator.

Needed a couple of coats but has revitalised my little towel radiator 👍🏻
