Not the normal types of deodorant. It is a hard type of cream and very thick and it smoothes on the skin and when rubbed in it would disappear as a lotion would but without the soothing and wetness, a lotion gives. It has allowed me to sweat less while in the gym and it's naturally made. I mean if it's your cup of tea that's great but I i think ill stick with the rub-on deodorants as they are easier to apply.

I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately I cannot recommend it. I'm not partial to writing reviews, but I would honestly stay away from this one. While the ingredients are literally amazing on paper, unfortunately this formula needs some work. I'm a big fan of using these deodorant in a jar products and I've tried a few different brands in the past such as Pretty Frank, LIttle Seed Farm, Schmidts, Piperwai, etc. The issue with the Gaia Guy's one is that it just simply doesnt apply correctly... as if it's missing the necessary emulsifiers. it has coconut oil but its so dry i cannot apply it without the product acting like a dried powder that doesn't stick and its incredibly hard to apply it as a result. I thought it was due to the colder temperatures as some products will become more spreadable in hot weather, but even so it should work at room temperature. Until the company fixes their formula, I'd go with a more established brand like Pretty Frank.

Love the smell of it. Has a nice vanilla cookie like scent. Can't really smell the sandalwood but overall, I love the scent. The deodorant comes in a glass jar with a little wooden popsicle stick so you can scoop it out. The deodorant does have more of a solid consistency like shea butter. I scoop some out and place it on my armpit and close it to let it melt then I rub it around my armpit. I do like that this deodorant keeps my underarms fresh throughout the day. Overall, I like this one and will continue to use. I do, however, have to see how this will hold up in summer months. I have tried lots of natural deodorants and they tend to fail during summertime lol. So yeah, will be updating when it is summertime.
