VERY important review PLEASE read...Get the heavyweight winter version!
Firstly, anyone reading reviews for this product, please understand, there are 3 different thickness sizes (lightweight, all-season, and winter-heavyweight) available for this duvet. The thickness you choose will determine how thick and lofty, how much overall fill weight, and how warm the duvet is. Many people fail to mention the thickness size they choose, and this may influence their review opinion of the product. In my case, I got the Winter-Heavyweight Twin size, and YES, it does look very similar to the product photo of the item on Amazon; it is very full, lofty, and has puff to it. This duvet is a dream—HUGE bang for your buck... Secondly, you MUST acknowledge this product is 100% organic certified (that's a BIG deal) at this price piont. Additionally, this duvet is cruelty-free, meaning the feathers are sourced humanely. (also a BIG deal in 2025/2026). The organic 240-thread cotton is well above the expected industry standard for a similar product in this catgory. As one reviewer noted, "You don't need a duvet cover for this duvet technically," and it's true. It's soft, has breathability and crisp strength to it, and makes a slight papery crinkle noise when it's rustled. That slight crinkle sound is the result of quality organic cotton being used to make the product. It's a built-in indicator of quality and typical of organic cottons. Lastly, I must give you a 3-night update on what I really think of this duvet after using it here in New York City, where evening temps have been dipping into the mid 40s. First, the fluff... For the money, it's a HUGE bang for your buck if you're looking for big loft and maximum puffiness for dollars spent, plus comfortable warmth. And so far no, it's not too hot. Again, remember, the thickness size you choose matters, people! I have a "Winter-Heavyweight Twin." It has a fill weight of 44 oz for a twin (that's a very AMAZING weight amount for a twin across the market, meaning it's an indicator of loft and puffiness). And YES, my winter heavyweight twin I purchased for $79 does indeed look like the product photo for the item; it is very fluffy, has loft, and even without putting it in the dryer initially out-of-the-box, it still shook out very nicely with a lot of poof to it. I've used it three nights; it's dreamy. I researched duvets a lot. This duvet has 95% waterfowl feathers and 5% down. More premium high-end duvets have a fill type of 85% down or more and weigh slightly less, but you pay a premium for the maximum "puff" from more down and the fact that the duvet is slightly more lightweight because down weighs less than feathers. Make no mistake, this is a premium-grade product. Even with 95% waterfowl feathers and 5% down, this duvet has VERY high loft to it in the twin winter heavyweight, and although it is sewn-through box stitching, as opposed to baffle-box stitching, it is still a very well-constructed 100% organic cotton all-natural duvet with a high fill weight, which helps determine how puffy or lofty the duvet appears. Although this duvet has weight to it, it isn't too much weight—it's not heavy. It's just right. You can kind of control and mold the duvet around your face and body when you sleep and control how much of the weight of the duvet rests on you; it's dreamy...the real deal, kinda nice. Again, guys, remember, for the price (I paid $79), this 100% organic CERTIFIED duvet with VERY HIGH fill weight (get the heavyweight winter version for maximum loft) is, quite frankly, ...a steal! As for the slight crinkle noise it makes...that's a sign of sheer quality and is typical of organics. I personally love the sound of the fabric; it's comforting. And for the record, the pics I included of my winter-weight twin laid across my bed were done by lightly throwing it over the bed; I did not adjust it in any way or make it poof up in any way prior to taking the photo; this depicts its natural fluff. That is natural loft and puff from the fill weight and feathers/down you see and is how the product appears in real life. Dreamy! For the price, this is a STEAL in the winter weight. ... Sweet dreams, I HIGHLY recommend.

Great quality-not extremely heavy-Perfect
Absolutely comforting and also not overwhelmingly hot in summer either. We use ours year round and it has been amazing !! I’m buying another and giving my old one to my daughter!

Great quality!!
Prior to purchasing this comforter, I looked in stores in Germany and the USA as well as online. I couldn't justify paying the prices that were asked for premium heavyweight comforters, but I was worried that if I purchased a comforter online it would smell funny, poke me with feathers, etc. I took the plunge here because I figured I could return it if I hated it. When it arrived, it was vacuum packed and seemed quite heavy. I opened the package and the was NO SMELL at all, although the package indicated "down and feathers have a natural smell which will fade away once you have taken them out of the package and aired them for some time". I fully expected that it would have at least some odor, but I didn't notice any at all. Initially the comforter was pretty flat, although there was no clumping of the filling and it was very uniform. I shook it slightly and laid it over the bed knowing that it would likely puff up over time. When I returned to it a few hours later, it was still pretty flat so I just shook it in two or three large sections and it plumped up nicely. I was struck by the quality of the workmanship. The seams are tight, there are loops to connect it to the duvet cover, and there is no "dirt" or cotton shell in the fabric that is referred to in the description. The cotton fabric is actually quite smooth and doesn't make any weird crinkling sounds. I purchased a king size for my queen-size bed, since I hate the feeling of a cover that isn't quite big enough; I'm happy to report it nearly touches the floor on both sides of the bed. So far I've slept under it one night, and it was very warm with just a sheet between me and the comforter (I ordered a duvet cover, but it hasn't arrived yet). Overall, I am very impressed by the quality of this comforter. I had no such expectations at this price point. I would be purchasing another one for a Christmas gift, but the heavyweight/optimum warmth is not available. APSMILE, if you are reading this, please make more of these available!! You have a great product here!

exactly what i was looking for!
this comforter sounds and feels like a crinkly hotel blanket which is exactly what i was looking for! it didn't take long at all to fluff up and it was very easy. all you have to do is put the comforter in your dryer at a low setting for about 20-30 minutes and i put in a dryer sheet too but that's optional. i think the instructions said 10 minutes but i did it for a bit longer cause mine was still looking a bit flat after 10 minutes so i took it out and adjusted it so that each side could get a good fluffing and ran it for 20 more minutes, it was perfect after that. i put a cover on it and it's already on my bed. some people were worried about smell but i didn't experience any bad or weird smells coming from the comforter. perfect size for my queen bed and comfortable! the only gripe i have is that i can OCCASIONALLY feel a feather from inside the blanket stab me a little lol. that's literally the only thing i can say i'd change.

Thickness
For sure made just for winter. It’s super warm! This has been the only blanket my husband and I could actually share, due to the size. Took away one star, because you have to fluff it everyday to make sure the blanket is spread evenly throughout the blanket. That could get annoying to some.

poor quality
It is comfortable, it keeps it super warm, it looks very fancy in bed, but I do not recommend that you buy it for the following: I decided to buy it for my son and since he started using it, he started having a lot of allergies, he keeps sneezing and telling me that something was stinging him at night and he was constantly complaining that the feathers were stinging him at night and waking him up all the time. I decided to check the bed and the blanket and I was surprised to find that the feathers are coming out horribly everywhere and they really are stinging when they are coming out and too much. When I took the blanket out of its cover, feathers came out in bunches from everywhere and I checked and there were feathers all over the floor of my son's room. I do not think it should be like this since I work a lot with people who use feather blankets and this does not happen to them because even though they are of better quality. Well, this has been our horrible experience. If I could, I would return it, but the time limit for returning it has expired.

Very like a UK duvet, great product!
We recently moved to the US from the UK and the biggest shock for us so far was the lack of duvets! One of the first things that we did was look for a duvet, and while this isn't exactly a duvet, it's pretty close. We have a King bed and this thing covers it and then some, which is just what you want (blanket snatchers NEED this one), it looks great, especially if you get a duvet cover. The material is just like a UK duvet which is what we wanted. This is a great product, taking both the US comforter culture and the UK duvet culture.

Value for price point
Posting a photo of my unmade bed so you can really see how fluffy this comforter is!! It also makes the noisy, crunchy sound I wanted - like a hotel bed! I’ve had this on my bed for a few days now and I love it! Worth the price. I purchased a different comforter first (cheaper) and was not impressed. So glad I found this one - exactly what I was looking for! I got the oversized king and it’s definitely long enough to keep both sides completely covered - no fighting for the blanket. Honestly though - I sleep alone so I never have to fight for covers. They’re all mine!

Great Duvet! Very warm
I bought king size year round and use it on a queen size bed. I debated getting the thicker version for only 15$ more with the coupon, but I thought i might be too warm for the summer time. This duvet is High quality, you can tell from the stitching and feel. The thead count is much higher then my old one which leaked duck feathers, but its soft, not crunchy. The down inside is warm and fluffy. I was suprised at how small the duvet was when it arrived in a small box, but it was vacuum packed, and expanded quickly. It is very warm, i like to sleep in the cold, with warm duvet, often with window open in winter. And this duvet I feel no cold at all, no cold spots. Its weight is also pefect, I considered the thicker version because i like thick duvets but this one has considerable weight (note:with the duvet cover on), so much so, that it has had a effect on my sleeping, that I dont toss and turn much, I sleep peacefully on my back. I am curious about the down to feather ratio/% in the duvet, its not listed anywhere on here or the duvet tag. overall great duvet, my first goose down duvet.

Well made and love the weight.
Good weight - not too warm, not too light. Stitching is well done. I have not had any feathers pop out and pinch me as of yet which is great. I will be buying a second one for the other bedroom.

If you are looking for a light and fluffy duvet, get this one
Nothing but good things to say about this product, it made my sleeping experience so much more better. I got a king duvet for my queen bed and it hugs ever inch of my bed. It is light for a heavy weight duvet but in a really really good way it is still thick and fluffy but it also really light and the down is distributed evenly around so you don’t get any cold spots. When I first got the item it was vacuumed sealed tight but once I took it out I put it in the dryer for 30 mins and it puffed up really nice. My room is in the basement so it gets really cold at night and this was the perfect solution. I bought a feather mattress pad and pillows and the duvet completed the look and feel. Feels like sleeping on a cloud and not to be bias but a lot better then sleeping on a hotel bed. The only thing I have to complain about is that it is really hard to get out of bed.
