I’ve used this mic system now at multiple karaoke events I have DJed at. Right off the bat, I was super impressed with this mic system. First off, the build quality of this mic is superb. The majority of the outside mic casing feels like it’s made of metal. Some of the people at my events get drunk so the possibility of mics falling is high. This mic feels like it could withstand drops, which is a huge plus. Using this system at the events I worked at, this mic system performed wonderfully. I had no drops or pops in the mic sound. Each mic sounded great. One of the only downsides to this system is that both mics look identical. When I was trying to adjust the volume when people were singing too loudly in each mic, I had a hard time determining which mic was which because the mics look the same. I felt like I had to guess which volume knob to turn down. However, this is a simple problem to fix by just putting some colored tape on each mic or something that can be used to distinguish one mic from the other. In terms of isolating vocals, this mic performed well. Refer to my mic test in my attached video to see how this mic performed isolating my voice next to a loud freeway. When testing this mic behind objects, this mic did well at close distance, but I started to encounter pops in the audio further away from the receiver, which you can see in the attached video I did testing this mic behind trees at various distances. In my distance mic test, which you can see in the attached video, this mic experienced unpredictable pops and drops beyond 180 feet, when testing it line of sight in a grassy field. There may have been some pops in the mic sound less than 180 feet as well. Overall, I would recommend this mic system for close range events. I think this mic sounded great and the build quality is superb, which is a must have feature if you plan on doing events where intoxicated people will be using your mics, where a mic falling is inevitable. I have used a lot of mics. This is definitely one of the better budget mic systems out there. If you are doing karaoke events, like I do, then yes, this is a great mic. I do have more expensive mics I could use. If you plan on working with drunk people, why risk using expensive mics that are hundreds of dollars, if you can still get a good sound for much cheaper in a sturdy mic. I’ve literally had a drunk person before purposefully drop one of my Shure mics (belonging to a mic system that was hundreds of dollars) on the ground after singing karaoke. However, for events where you need a long range mic that can give you a reliable sound hundreds of feet away from the receiver, then I would not recommend this mic system. For the closer range events, I would definitely use this system again. It is also so easy to use and setup!

My church owns eight sets of the TW-820 microphone system, all purchased from Amazon. They have consistently performed very well for our services. Recently, one or two microphones developed issues, so I contacted the seller to ask if they could be repaired. This is a great product!

I just hooked these two mics up to my home PA system (in a medium sized 15' by 15' room). Quick and easy set-up. Clean and strong signal. Seem to provide plenty of volume through the included single "mix" cable, although I have purchased dual XLR cables to adjust the volume and settings on each mic individually. Build quality seems very nice and hefty after installing batteries. I am quite impressed with the sound tone and vocal quality the mics produce. Not too "hot" (or sensitive), but not "mushy" or muffled, either. Perfect for my voice when singing rock and roll songs. I also prefer the filtered sound with the wind screen attached to reduce the hard "S" and "P" sounds that can be picked up otherwise. I've experienced no noticeable lag between my voice into the mic and the sound projected from the speakers. The metal body is prone to pick up some movement noise when the mic is handled, so a mute button would have been a nice feature, but singers should be able to quickly adapt, and not move the mic around so much in their hand. Not sure about battery life yet, but AA batteries are easy to get and keep on hand. Overall, I am very pleasantly surprised with this purchase, and I hope this equipment lasts me a while. I've been singing and performing for over 25 years, and I recognize good sound when I hear it, and these mics pass the test for home use! 4.5 stars for no mute button, but that's a small item. I highly recommend these for the "at home" karaoke singer that considers their music "serious fun"! Rock on! 🎵🎙

Incredibly easy to set up. Intuitive and simple user interface. Above all solid sound, dialed volume control and excellent range from mic to receiver. Plug, play and ditch 50+ of line for EACH mic in less than 2 minutes.

Good quality for the price

I've Shure PG58A and recently I purchased this wireless microphone. I must say here that I find this microphone built superbly and high class and the top of it, is sound quality. I produce excellent crystal sound clarity even compared with my Shure PG58A. I personally recommend using it and getting good sound quality and built at such a low price compared to higher-end microphones.

I bought these off the strength of other reviews and even though have only used once so far, early signs are i was right to listen to the reviews. The mic's feel well built in the hand, easy to setup, they literally are almost plug and play. To use you literally pick a channel, turn them on, turn up the volume and away you go. I use them with a set of active speakers connected via a mixer. The mic's receiver connects to the mixer using the supplied 1/4" cable. I had no interference when using from behind the booth, and even walking around in front of the speakers no interference and voice sounded clear. each mic takes 2 AA batteries, not sure how long they will last as have only used them once, but if in doubt, make sure you keep some batteries with you. Nice touch having these mic's in different colours also so you can differentiate which one is using which channel easier. They both have their own volume control on the receiver which gives you some limited control. If you want to fully control the volume independently you would need to connect each mic via the balanced ports (cables not supplied) seperately Overall, definitely recommended if you are looking to use these for DJ, karaoke or speaking gigs.

En la parte inferior encontraremos el compartimento para las pilas (AA no incluidas) que nos proporcionarán una autonomía aproximada de unas 10-12 horas de uso continuo. Dentro del compartimento para las pilas, encontraremos un botón que nos permitirá cambiar la frecuencia de trabajo o ampliar la potencia de emisión, lo que consume un poco más de batería, pero aumenta el rango de cobertura. Cada micrófono cuenta con una pantalla donde podemos comprobar la batería restante, el canal y la frecuencia en la que está emitiendo. 🎯 RENDIMIENTO Estos micrófonos, si bien no son de una gama profesional, cuentan con una calidad formidable, a la altura de productos muchísimo más caros. Funcionan en la banda UHF de 900 MHz, pudiendo seleccionar frecuencias preseleccionadas en un rango de 900 a 920 MHz distribuidas en un total de 15 canales, lo que permite establecer una comunicación limpia en caso de encontrarnos en un entorno donde el espectro se encuentre ocupado por otros dispositivos. La calidad del sonido es muy, pero que muy buena. Quizás se quede un poco corta para un concierto o para su uso en una orquesta, pero va sobrada para usarlo en un karaoke, en speeches o en cualquier otro tipo de evento. Yo los he comprado para usarlos en un local de karaoke, donde los micrófonos pasan por muchas manos al cabo del día, manos que no tienen un especial cuidado con los micrófonos, donde se suelen golpear, caer al suelo y otro tipo de catástrofes similares, y desde luego me están dando un resultado muy superior al que yo esperaba. 🎯 RESUMEN 🎯 PROS 👍 Fácil instalación, configuración y utilización. 👍 Buena calidad de sonido. 👍 Buena autonomía. 👍 Buena cobertura en interior y en exterior. 👍 Posibilidad de seleccionar la frecuencia de trabajo. 👍 Conexión balanceada XLR o Jack de 6,3. 🎯 CONTRAS 👎 Por poner alguno, no estaría mal que el receptor indicara la batería restante de cada micrófono. En general pienso que es un buen set de micrófonos inalámbricos, de buena calidad y muy versátiles. Si bien no son de una gama 100% profesional, les voy a dar las 5 estrellas porque creo que cuentan con una excelente relación calidad/precio. Sin duda los volvería a comprar y lo haré, ya que cuento con un desgaste fuera de lo normal por el uso que yo les doy.
