6 Peltier effect cooling blocks or heat differential power generating blocks.
These devices are the workhorse between those stove-top fans that require no batteries or the plug-in coolers that you use in the car to keep stuff cold. The Peltier chip (white square) will become cold on one side and hot on the other when a current is applied to the wires. In the experiment I did to show this pictures 2-4 I connected 2 chips in parallel with the hot side down on one of them. Pictures 3-4 show the temperature differential between the hot and cold of each chip.This could be used to build a drink cooler, or supply electricity wherever there is a heat differential. Put a heat source on one side and a heat sink fin on the other and it will generate power. The larger the differential the more power comes out.Fantastic kit for science experiments or for home creations.
