Plantronics 86701-01 Calisto 620-M Bluetooth speakerphone - Retail Packaging - Black

Handy USB speaker phone to use for Skype for Business meetings. Great audio quality and picks up speakers from across the room well. Initially, I was concerned about battery life, but it has been working fine since the first long charge (> 1 hour). Would recommend this to anyone needing to perform conference calls in their office / meeting room using Skype for Business.

This is an awesome Bluetooth speaker that can act as a speaker phone. I use this in my conference room with Skype for our video conferences. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up all choices at the conference table and the speaker is loud enough to hear everything from the other parties in the conference.I definitely recommend this speaker.

This unit worked great with my iPhone 5c but now will not connect to my 6s.

Great speaker I use with Skype for business calls as I travel a lot and my Company did away with desk phones after switching to VOIP. This small speaker has great call quality, no echo, and long battery life.

Received in timely manner. It integrates really well with PC. Same with Bluetooth connection to iPhone and is stable. Sound quality is great with my VoIP PC phone. I've also sponsored a couple conference calls over my iPhone with several people in the conference room and had no completes either local or with remote members. Charging is a little confusing as to if the battery is charging or not. Seems like you HAVE to use the power supply and cable that came with the unit even though it's a micro USB interface. Overall I would recommend the unit.

Big DisappointmentThis does not perform the essential tasks that any Bluetooth device provides. It has a battery meter that doesn't tell you how much of a charge is left. It has a "connected" blue icon that doesn't light up blue.You have to use their Bluetooth dongle to see the battery meter and it must be connected to your computer. Connect it to a cell phone and you have no idea how much battery is left.The power button is unresponsive and hard to tell if it is truly on or not.Maybe I received a dud? I can't imagine it was designed to work this way.When it did connect the sound quality was good and it has 4 microphones which make it good for more than one person.

I have used many Plantronic's products in the past and have always been more than pleased with them. Which is why when I saw this device I ordered it right away. As someone that is on the phone a lot I was looking for a GOOD speakerphone for my iPhone, specifically with Bluetooth. The size of this device is perfect, it is well built and comes with a nice neoprene case. It paired with my iPhone and Mac with no trouble whatsoever. Sound quality from the speaker was great and vastly superior to the native iphone speaker capabilities. I was using it to play music from my mac as well and while the quality was certainly richer, it's by no means an audiophile quality speaker (not expecting it to be). For music I give it a thumbs up as it is definitely better than the macbook speakers, but there are certainly cheaper alternatives for that. All the buttons worked as advertised and certainly easy to use.Now on to making calls. I hosted a conference call and I was initially impressed with the quality from MY end, it did degrade as the call went on. It sounded good, although I did here a constant clicking almost as if the voice activation part of the microphone was clicking on and off with the pauses in conversation, it wasn't loud but enough to be distracting. I would compare it to sounding like a reasonable but not great quality cell connection. Ok first call done no complaints from the people I was talking to... Next call was a personal call and at the end of the conversation I asked them to rate the sound quality, They said it was clear but distant, I was definitely on a speaker phone but it was acceptable. They gave it a 6 out of 10 on sound quality. And I still had the clicking noise on the call.I powered off the device - repaired it to my iPhone and placed another call. The person I talked to immediately asked me to "take me off speakerphone" -- this is exactly what I didn't want to hear. I switched from the Calisto 620 to the native iPhone speakerphone and the caller replied - ahh thats better thanks for taking me off speaker -- not knowing they still were on the native iphone speaker!Then I tested it for myself -- had some one call me using my phone and the Calisto 620 on another phone just so I could hear it for myself. The native iPhone speaker was considerably less distant sounding. While the call was easy to hear using the speakerphone it definitely had that hollow empty room sound to it as if the person was 5 feet away from the handset - the person had a very distant quality to their voice.So in conclusion this device is not what I was hoping for... I didn't want my callers knowing I was on a speaker phone and was looking for better quality than this device delivered. I could hear THEM much better and that was definitely a plus, but I want the listeners to hear me too...So I am off to find a device that will provide the quality I seek.Jabra SPEAK 510 is my next attempt...

Probably one of the Best Conference Speakers EVER!! My company uses it for conference calls and it works Perfect. Our is conference room is approx. 20' x 40' and it has no problem picking up voices without people having to move closer or speak louder. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
