XL Perfect size for my African Grey
The XL size and thickness of the pieces are perfect for an African grey & cockatoo sized parrot. Maybe a bit too small for a macaw. Many hours of entertainment and it lasted over 2 weeks. The carabiner that it came with was very safe for parrots and closed in place tightly on the cage bars. There was no bad smell that came with it.

Keeps my grey busy
My african grey loves this toy. She can demolish this over the course of a week. The wood is on the softer side but that’s what she likes. I have bought many of these over the past many years. It is bird safe. This is a good quality toy for my bird. She also likes to play with the rope and shred them.

Great for medium parrots
