Emile Henry5" x 1.5" Creme Brulee Dishes (Set of 2) | Burgundy

These are so fantastic. Don't let the name "creme brulee" make you think that's all they're good for. I use them constantly (daily) baking or roasting in my toaster oven. The super smooth finish is so easy to clean after use. If I make muffins, I don't bother greasing the pans, it doesn't need it with this smooth finish. After making a muffin or tiny cake in one, there will be the usual crumbs coating the side of the pan, but it doesn't "glue" the baked item into the pan. It also cleans easily--while the pan is hot the crumb layer will wipe right out with a paper towel. If I forget it and the crumb layer dries to the sides, I just soak it a few minutes in warm water, and the crumbs wipe out super easily. I've even roasted small piece of chicken in these pans! I went with white because I didn't want to chance anything odd or toxic being in the coloring of the pans. They look so cute in white anyway. In baking or roasting they brown so evenly and beautifully - the clay Emile Henry uses must really be something special, because these bake like a dream, take my deep freezer, go right into a pre-heated baking temp oven from the freezer, yet they're fairly tough as I've not managed to even chip or scratch one yet. Love love love Emile Henry pans - and the little pans are quite affordable.

I keep buying pet dishes and they just don’t hold up well... plus my tiny 7 lb. Miniature Pinscher has trouble with many bowls as the sides come up so high they hit his eyes. As a last resort I bought these a while ago and I can report they are sturdy and hold up very well to daily use. They look attractive and are perfect so I’m back to buy another set of two and will make these my go to for my dog!

Great for creme brulee but can also be used for individual tarts, pies or baked/unbaked berry or fruit desserts. Maybe good as snack bowls, can hold dipping sauce or dips. Loads of uses. Emile Henry quality cannot be beat.

Shipping was fast, the bowls arrived with no damage, and they are perfect. Nice that they're a little deeper than the typical creme brûlée dishes. They will make an elegant presentation.

These little dishes are PERFECT for creme brûlée - the red color shows off the dessert nicely and it's festive for many holidays (Valentine's, Summer, Fall, Christmas.) They are heavy and cook food/desserts evenly. I use them for many individual food items.

Simple but classic crème brûlée ramekins. We loved them and the crème brûlée worked out very well as seen on the photo. High quality product, arrived well packed and nothing was broken or damaged.

Le ciotole sono bellissime e robuste e si possono mettere tranquillamente in lavastoviglie.Io ne ho ordinate due più due, bianche e beige.Quelle beige sono appena appena colorate e quasi non si nota la differenza rispetto a quelle bianche.Decisamente un ottimo acquisto

These brulee dishes are lovely. They are a traditional dis for this dessert. The colour, I selected a blue shade, is actually more leaning towards teal than blue. However, it was my choice so I live with it. Dishes are sturdy, perform exactly how you would expect. Arrived on time. Packaging could have done with a few more pieces of bubble wrap, in my opinion. Recommended.
