Works perfectly. Clear video.
The cheap looking plastic is what it is. You know what you’re getting. But it appears to be sturdy. Easy enough to set up. Took about a week to get the first bird there but they’re regulars now. Video and audio quality is very good. Doesn’t seem to false detect if we walk in the background. Smart motion detection.

Birds up close
I am so glad I purchased this. So much enjoyment in watching all the different birds up close. The variety of birds that are coming to feed really surprised me. The video is quality and the feeder holds the right amount of food. It was very easy to install and looks great. I would recommend this feeder to anyone who loves watching wildlife. It is well worth the money.

Enjoy seeing the birds up close!
The media could not be loaded. Works great, fun getting video of all the birds visiting the feeder! The AI Bird Feeder comes with several mounting options. I initially thought I would need to install the feeder on a wall so I could position the solar panel in an unobstructed position facing the sun. However, the cable connecting the solar panel to the feeder was long enough that I was able to mount the feeder to a large tree in the back yard. There were a few extra pieces included that were not addressed in the manual. Two of these are hummingbird feeders that were easy to figure out where they should go on the feeder. The other extra items are two fork like attachments are likely for suet cakes, but I am not certain. The camera setup is easy and explained well in the manual. The camera works great, video quality is very good and fun having the audio along with the video.

Great Gift Idea
The media could not be loaded. This is a really cool product for anyone who likes to watch birds interact, either with each other or just while they stop in for a snack. We actually have never had a bird feeder of any kind, but our daughter loves watching birds, so we turned our attention to getting one of these with a camera attached. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get it set up, but it really was not very hard to get going AND it took me less time than I had anticipated. It seems to be sturdy and will likely stand up to the elements. So far the battery has stayed charged just with the solar that comes with it. And of course, our daughter loves peeking in at the birds when they are up there feeding. We are excited for this and are looking forward to many more hours of watching the many different species it has already attracted. Some of these birds that are identified we had no idea they were even around. Great product!

BEST GIFT EVER
The media could not be loaded. My daughters bought me this for Mother’s Day. The video clarity is awesome and I love looking at all the videos every day. The birds seem to love it too as I have to refill it every day or two. Without the subscription, it keeps about 3 days worth of 10 second videos (at about 200 videos a day). Installed the solar charger and the camera battery never dies. Definitely recommend. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Started well, better than competitors(Update/Edit at bottom)
Previous products bought had constant connection problems. Reasons given were not factual since I manage wireless networks for venues that can handle 200+My home network can handle 100 devices without skipping a beat at 100 ft and bird feeder is only 12 ft from AP.This device did work great for about a month. Then I was required to reset 3 to 4 times a day when receiving 'Network Error'.Sent wifi readings(all great) and still being told it's my wifi( none of my other devices have dropped or required resetting and they require higher signal)Hopefully company will analyze my data because when it works, it is a good product and we like design, worthy of 4 stars. But excuses they send us will keep it at 2 ._________________________Update: After re-testing network multiple times, sending results, seller re-sent new device. So far new device has remained connected without network error message. Old device still locks up and I am removing it from network.Because seller did respond and stayed in contact, going to up review to 3. We do like being able to yell at squirrels, camera is good quality, night vision decent.

This was the best money I've ever spent
Works beautifully, was easy to setup and connect, and I get a daily dose of stress relief at seeing all the wildlife in my backyard. I never knew we had racoons until this camera. I also love the option to add fruit and the jelly feeder. We're seeing a wide variety of birds in between squirrel sightings.

This is a great invention for bird watchers and to know what kind of birds land on this to eat and able to watch.

The kids Love It!
Although I was in the market for a bird feeder, I had never anticipated one that also included a camera. The camera is useful to help notify me when there is a bird on the feeder, so I can either watch remotely, or try to get closer in person. The camera is 1080p, which is more than sufficient for its purpose. It uses AI to recognize the various species of birds. There is a solar panel to power the camera so you don't need to worry about connecting it to a power source (which likely will not be nearby or accessible depending on where you are placing the feeder). There is an internal battery that will get charged up allowing it to work in darkness. You can also use an SD card to store the videos locally. It is easy to install, you are basically finding a place to mount it and connecting the solar panel. You can mount the feeder on a pole, a tree or a wall. The various pieces of hardware required for mounting in these configurations are included in the box.The app setup is also quite easy, you can use the provided QR code in the manual to get to the app installation link and then just follow the instructions after creating an account. You will basically setup your Wifi connection within the app and use the camera on the bird feeder to scan a QR code that is displayed on your phone screen to finalize the setup. The app has many options, including notifications of motion, displaying the battery level, the ability to share the camera with others, setting off an alarm and turning on a light on the feeder camera. You can even do two way voice communication via the app.Although due to the price point, this may not be for everyone, someone who is an avid fan of birdwatching or nature will likely appreciate this product. It was a big hit with the kids!

Cool bird feeder
Easy to install the app is easy to install as well do not install the birdfeeder facing the sun because it’ll be just one giant blurMake sure you install your solar panel for charging facing the sun and fairly easy access so you can brush the snow off itIt’s easy to refill and clean the birdfeeder itself. You can mount it with screws or have it hanging which is also nice if you don’t want to put screws into your trees. There’s two ways of charging one by solar panel or by electrical outlet.Suggestion before installing to fully charge your birdfeeder it’ll take about 12 hours. If you would like more memory, you will need a SD card 128 gib the app says it can identify about 10,000The video last about 30/40 sec. There is a 30 day free trial there after you can get membershipPush notification when motion detected (not live when tested without subscription. I cannot say if you have a subscription. Kinda cool bird feeder

A few minor adjustments would make this item excellent
The media could not be loaded. I was very excited to set up this bird feeder. However, I noticed a few days before it arrived that all the birds in our yard vanished! It’s the beginning of August, so I thought I had lots of time, but according to a google search, birds often start migrating from Canada at this time of year. I went ahead and set it up anyway because we have loads of squirrels and chipmunks who love sunflower seeds. I placed something tall beside it so they can easily climb up and down to the feeder.Installation was super easy. It comes with various sets of hardware, so you have several mounting options. It even came with a strap in case you want to mount it to a tree, without harming the tree with screws. Love that! I set ours up on a tall fence in our backyard.Loading the app and connecting the camera to Wi-fi was straight forward and did not present any issues. The video quality is good. The motion sensor is very sensitive and even a butterfly passing by sets it off. I actually turned off the notifications in the app because it was being triggered constantly. One thing I didn’t care for is that the camera tilt cannot be controlled using the app, like most of our security cameras are. I had to go out and manually adjust it to get a good view of the wildlife. Another thing I noticed was that it only records for a maximum of 20 seconds at a minimum of 1-minute intervals. And when I go live to watch whatever is eating from the feeder, it times out after 30 or 40 seconds. Then you need to wait for it to reconnect. Watch for another 30 or 40 seconds and repeat. I thought I’d be able to watch it as long as I wanted, provided the camera had power. So I’m not sure if this is a built-in timer, or if it’s a weak Wi-fi signal. Although the app says my connection strength is medium. I have a security camera a few feet away and I can watch that live as long as I like without any timeouts. So overall, I do love this bird feeder. I can’t wait for the spring, when all the birds came back. I didn’t sign up for the 30-day free AI trial, because there’s no point right now. Hopefully it doesn’t expire and I can sign up in the spring when the birds return. I like the design of the feeder and having solar power is perfect. I think with a few adjustments to the camera and/or the app, this would easily be 5-star item.

Nifty Way To Watch Birds...
Quick Review:So this is a pretty unique way to watch birds / squirrels.Love that it's solar & rechargeable...can also be plugged into AC power to charge.Includes 30 days of free cloud storage. Also features 'artificial Intelligence bird recognition', capable of identifying and categorizing more than 11,000 bird species...kind of a neat feature. The 1080p resolution is great for those close up shots. Can send notification so you know every time something shows up for a snack. This is a wonderful idea for anyone who likes to watch birds close up.

Make sure you have your phone set on 2.4GH
I initially had problems syncing this to the app before realizing it had to be set on 2.4GH andmy phone didn't do it automatically.Once set up and the birds come, the visuals are nice and clear. My son and I have been having a lot of fun with this.
