My sons works outside taking order in drive through lane through all weather. He says these are the best socks he owns for winter work and loves them. He will pick them first everytime and I just bough him some more.

New Favorite Socks
I bought these for my mother after purchasing some for myself awhile ago. Super warm and comfortable. And they STAY up! I did find that they run slightly small however. They are well made and have that "cool" factor. Everything you'd look for in a quality product. Bravo!

Excellent cushioned socks, high merino content, non-irritating, comfy, very warm & durable...
These are excellent ski socks. I have several pairs of hiking socks from this brand that I have ordered over the last couple of years and they are cozy and warm, as expected, but they are also very durable and hold up well. I have not been on skis for decades, but these definitely would be great socks for skiers -- they are thick but don't feel heavy and are fully cushioned + the padded leg protects against the tight binding on ski boots. These socks are very well made (turn them inside out and the quality is evident -- short, densely looped yarn and no patchy areas or loose or hanging threads) and are perfect for outdoor activities. But, I ordered them just to wear around my drafty old house in the winter as my feet get so cold and miserable. I wear a size 9.5 in women's shoes, which is a size M in the size charts (and size 10 is a size L). I went ahead and ordered these in size L, just to make sure the leg wouldn't be too tight, and they fit perfectly. I can also fold them down when I don't need or want a full-length sock. The socks are made with a high percentage of merino wool and I don't experience any irritation at all. They have a high degree of elasticity and easily return to the initial size and shape. I wash them in cold water and hang them up to dry and there is no shrinkage, loss of shape or twist. I chose the blue and the black, and I could not be happier with them. I will certainly buy more socks from this brand -- they are made in the USA which is definitely a plus. I think they are well worth the current price of $23.99.

I didn't know I needed these in my life until now.
Have you been on the lookout for the perfect fall / spring socks? Here they are! These wonderful calf length wool socks temperature regulate both your feet and calves rather well while being padded where needed and minimizing bulk.WHAT'S IN THE BOX?• One pair of Minus 33's Mountain Heritage Elite over calf ski socks.POSITIVE• Full height calf.• Balanced temperature regulation between foot and calf. Felt warm when outside at 40f, but didn't get swampy when in 68f building working.• Texture is smooth and not scratchy. This sock may be a great option for those that need warmth and are particular about light weight material or clothing texture.• Padding is comfortable, does the job well and is thoughtfully placed.NEGATIVE• The price is a bit steep for a single pair of socks. However, considering it is USA made with Merino wool, thoughtfully designed with great performance the price is acceptable. If this product could be offered as a multipack at a discounted rate of -5 to -15% per pair that could help drive sales.NEUTRAL• N/AADDITIONAL NOTES• No issues with shrinking.• I recommend the Minus 33's marketing team get the word out on these among demographics that work outside or transition between indoor and outdoor working environments. Such as tradesmen, delivery drivers, logistics workers ect. This product could serve these folks well but they may miss it due to being marketed for the outdoors crowd only.WHY 5 STARS?These are my new favorite fall time socks! After having acquired them for review I intend to purchase several more pairs. If you have any questions, put them here and I will do my best to answer them.

Comfortable, breathable, and warm.
I unwrapped the socks, and began to put them on. First, when starting to put on the sock. The sock does not get hung up, or stuck to any part of your foot. No little threads getting caught. Just a smooth, clean, sock experience going on. Starting off great already. When you put on the sock you expect it to be nice and cushioned. Instead, you're greeted with what is best described as a "foot hug". I have had other cushioned socks that are overtly cushioned. These pair of socks posses a subtler cushion. You at first may feel a little ripped off, but in a minute or two you realize these pair of socks have more of a sophisticated cushioning feel to them. It's good. Just not what I was, and probably you're expecting, but it's a nice feeling. It doesn't feel cheap, or thin if you're concerned about that. It just airs more on the side of "cushion" versus "support" if that makes sense? The socks are plenty warm, while still feeling very breathable. It's a neat sensation. You'd think the breathability would cause your feet/legs to be cold, but this isn't the case at all. The socks are good at staying in place if you're active. So no fuss there either. They feel like a well made pair of socks that had some decent thought put into them when being designed. I can't say I really have any criticism for these socks. Good stuff!

Warm and Tall
These are great socks. I wear these tall socks for more than just skiing: with work boots, hiking boots, running shoes and sometimes, when it's really chilly, to sleep in. I've washed and worn these more than a dozen times and they still look and feel new. These are a good value in tall wool socks.
