A perfect replacement
This fits and works the same as the Mercedes Benz OEM filter. In fact it is the SAME filter, made by the same company that makes the OEM filter for Mercedes. The only physical difference between this and the OEM filter they want us to buy from the Mercedes dealer is the stamp/printing on the side of the filter. Also, the filter from the dealer is about $us50 more in the US. To me that's a lot to pay for a stamp. If you look at the picture attached, you can see the exact same Mann Filter part number on both filters, while the filter from the dealer also has the additional Mercedes stamp/logo. Yes, as the dealers say we have to install this ourselves. But if you can use a screwdriver and don't mind a little dirt on your hands you can save over $100 (parts cost difference and labor) by doing it yourself.
