I wasn't sure how to load the ink cartridge but I YouTube it and found a great site that walked me through it. After I got it together had to wait about a minute for the ink to reach the tip. And when it did it was effortless to write with. I loveit. And definitely recommend it.

Husband uses = his review.I really love this fountain pen. It comes with several black cartridges as well as blue. You also can use bottled ink if you choose to. Writes very smoothly and has no splatters in the least. It looks like it costs a great deal more than it did. As I wrote in the headline, you could pay more - but why would you?

Found this to be a nice writing pen once I got used to writing again from a ballpoint to an ink pen. However only after a very few uses the pen went dry and needed a cartridge change. I found when shaking the first cartridge, it still retained ink but refused to work in the pen regardless how much I shook it. If extra cartridges dry this quickly it will be a huge problem regardless the smoothness of the writing of this pen.

So basically it a great pen , you have to load up the ink cartridges into the pen . Hold it upright or so for about 1 minute or more if you have some time . Then once it’s fully filled into the pen . You can use it as normal . Also if your new to fountain pens . You can decide and pick the position of the pen when writing so you can get the right amount of ink out . If it’s sideways writing you might get a very thin writing or less ink performance. But holding it with the tip vertical seems to me that works the best . So good luck . Worth the money since it do comes with 2 refillable ink cartridges and 10 (5 black 5 blue ) disposable ink cartridges. So for the price it is worth it to me and I give it 5 stars .
