The vacuum arrived in a well sealed brown box and once unpackaged it takes seconds to set up. It's well made and the battery fits in nice and easy, once you've got this in you're good to go.Just a warning, it is a little loud so earplugs are recommended but other than that no downsides. The unit is light, portable and the suction power on it is great.

The 'LIGO 20V Cordless Ash Dust Vacuum Cleaner, 15L' arrived in a sturdy box; inside the main body of the vacuum is the battery and charger, the hose and short metal tube, a handle for the top of the vacuum cleaner and user instructions.The vacuum cleaner appears well made, and the battery fits easily once you have it the right way around.The short metal tube fits inside the hose, and as I found, many of the plastic attachments from our existing vacuum fitted nice and tight. If your attachments are only a little too big, you could try a layer or two of insulating tape around the metal tube to increase its diameter where it goes inside your attachments.When operational it has a higher frequency sound, and if you are like me and it's one that annoys, ear plugs can be a good solution if you plan extended use.The metal can provide a nice rugged container for the collected waste. The unit is light, so can be carried on the stairs, but it is a little too wide so sit comfortably on a standard size tread step.To test the effectiveness of the vacuum, I tried vacuuming a few pieces of 10mm shingle, and it picked them up with no problems. I can see this being the go to vacuum for those small jobs around the house, or even in the shedThe wife is very happy with this, as if she has a small spill of flour when baking, it can be picked up in seconds.As we often visit places where you may get mud or stones in your shoes, which then transfers to the car, this will be idea for the larger cleaning tasks in the car, and with no cable across the pavement, no risk of someone tripping over.

Not good for smokeless fuel which produces very fine ash. The filter blocks very quickly and is difficult to clear. Have tried it with coal but the cinders can block the tube. I would not buy again.

It comes with a charger, a battery, a handle, a hose, a metal tube, and an instruction guide. It's very easy to carry because it is cordless. While it's easy to use, it's always a good idea to read the instruction guide once. It's excellent value for money.

I really like this little hoover it’s good size and powerful.The hoover has battery similar to power tools that charge in charger and fits in top of hoover it’s pretty powerful and simple to use.You can store hose inside hoover when empty.Has filter and metal body so be good for ashes they may still be little warm the hose has metal part at end but hose is plastic so should leave ashes to totally cool.I didn’t actually order this for barbecue though I ordered to remove last bits of substrate from snake and lizard tanks when cleaning, I remove most with dustpan but always bits left in corners that hard to reach especially in larger 8 and 10ft tanks and this is perfect for hoover last bits out.Great little hoover wether used for ashes, substrate or any other purpose.Only assembly is attaching handle.Lightweight and simple to use
