But did the job perfectly.

This is one of those "why did no-one make these before?" products. It is a simple idea and works wonderfully. The photos I attach speak for themselves. The "before" photo is my T-shirt hanging on a standard IKEA wooden hanger. The T-shirt is hanging with around 3 cm of material sitting on the lower rail. The "after" photo is my T-shirt hanging on a swivel neck, plastic Higher Hanger. The T-shirt is now clear of the lower rail by a full 7 cm. I wholeheartedly recommend these hangers. Yes, they are more expensive but hangers will last for decades so make your life easier and let your T-shirts and shirts hang freely and reward the inventors of this neat solution. The only downside is that the hangers are thin. This is fine for T-shirts and shirts and, in fact, means you can hang more T-shirts in your wardrobe. But they are not so good for heavy, loose items such as jumpers. Jumpers will distort on the thin hanger. But a thicker hanger would mean you could hang fewer T-shirts, so it is swings and roundabouts.
