Good radio, but not like the first run of this model.
This is my second 6666. I traded my old one like an idiot and immediately missed it. My first one was a new release radio and this one has different finals in it. They're cheaper, and unlike my original, this radio gets hot very quickly even with the power turned to the 9 o'clock position. My old radio would only get luke warm at the same position or even at 12 o'clock. That being said, it does what it says it will, but be prepared to replace finals if it continues to run that hot. Not for the long winded. I'll either have the finals replaced in this one or go back to the Lincoln 2 plus. I just really liked the menu better on this one. Inner knobs are hard to tune if you have bigger fingers, but all in all a decent radio for the price.

Good quality rig.
Have only had this for a couple months but everything seems to be working fine so far. Have a MFJ 10m 1/4 wave, as well as a smaller Tram mag mount and it works great with both. Has sidebands, scanning, dual watch, SWR, etc. Plenty of videos online on how to use it (for example using on 11m CB band). Seems to have more use in the UK but has a large selection of bands to choose from depending on your area. If you are not keen on all the glitzy chromed flashing light bling of the usual export radios, you might like this more understated but very capable radio.

Best Radio in years
This radio has all the features you could ever want. It operates just as well on 11 Mtrs. as it does on 10 Mtrs. The manyfeatures are available via simple commands from the front control panel. The reports I receive back from other operatorsare excellent. The best part is the price. Radios costing 3 times as much don's offer the capabilities of the AnyTone.
