Absolutely a miracle. My dog is a 14 year-old Maltese bichon who I’ve always taken great pride in her dental care her entire life, but in the last four years she has not been able to have actual dental cleanings due to health problems and her age. I only go with VOHC products when it comes to her dental care, I recently noticed bad breath, and for the teeth that she has left on the sides and in the front had yellowing up at the gum line, it really bothered me. She hates people sticking their fingers in her mouth. Her Vetsaid well she’s fine, but you gotta realize her age. I don’t agree with that. Dogs can get periodontal disease and that can turn into bacterial infections. I’ve tried everything until this product. Does she like me putting my finger in her mouth even with a soft wipe no but too bad Mom‘s gonna do it anyway anyway. In the short week that I’ve been doing it honest to God the yellow on her gum line is gone!!!!!!!! Now have I had to fight her to open her side open yes but guess what it was well worth it and then we top it off with a little mouth spray and a VOHC approved Dental boneand I am so impressed that I’m telling you don’t think twice please this was four years of buildup that is gone within a week. I bought this for my little dogs and wasn’t quite sure what to think, I was not really expecting much. To my surprise, I have two dogs that are much older 15 years both of them and their teeth are terrible and their breath would knock people out. It was so bad. I was very skeptical and now I am a true believer in anybody with little dogs as a preventative or to help with their severely bad breath. This stuff will really work if you’re consistent with it.

My dog is pretty good about getting her teeth brushed and doesn’t mind too much having her teeth wiped with this product. (Recommended by her vet.) It has only the slightest odor, which is not offensive at all. Does have a slight chemical smell but that’s what it is. I still do both because I’m not certain one or the other is sufficient, but I like this product and will continue to use it. She no longer has to get annual dental cleanings so I’m very happy. I think those are so stressful for dogs.

The Vetradent spray does work to reduce plaque on my golden retriever’s teeth. I’m giving 3 stars because, find it difficult to spray on his teeth. The consistency is more like a serum than a true liquid spray. Since it’s not a fine mist, and it squirts out, I’m using a lot of product for each pump, making this not very cost effective versus the Vetradent wipes.

My vet recommended these dental wipes for my dog, and they have been much easier for us to use than a toothbrush. My dog doesn’t mind when I use the wipes, which makes it easier for me to get in and clean around her teeth without struggling with her. I’ve also noticed that her breath smells noticeably fresher after I clean her teeth with them. The wipes are convenient and make it easier to keep up with her dental-care routine regularly. For us, the biggest benefit is simply how easy they are to use compared with trying to brush her teeth. I’m much more likely to stay consistent with cleaning her teeth when the process is this simple.

It's working wonders for my dogs teeth. It took a little time for him to get used to the spray. Now he doesn't seem to mind. Julie

Recommended by my vet for my dog recently diagnosed with severe pancreatitis, who was hospitalized twice in a month, eating fine and very energetic at the moment. I have used it 4 times within 3 weeks, and my dog was visibly uncomfortable the day after. My dog was feeling restless, stomach gurgling, and uninterested in walk and eat(all symptoms recovered in half a day). At first I thought I was feeding my dog slightly bit more food the night before, or that she was still recovering from pancreatitis. However, after feeding her the same food for a week with absolutely no change in anything else, I have concluded it is this wipe that made her stomach upset. Not sure the reason behind it, I have tasted the wipe myself and it did not have any strong flavoring.
