Best safety glasses for detail work
As a tool room machinist, I do a lot of detailed work and inspection. I am very satisfied and highly recommend these glasses. The safety glasses themselves are well constructed and of good quality. The flip down magnifier that clips onto them has a good, clear magnification and the ease of use is excellent. I was concerned they might feel a bit too heavy but they are actually quite comfortable to wear throughout a work shift. If you need magnification intermittently, I highly recommend these.

These are great on two fronts.
My daughter just started wood shop in high school. She's been to my garage wood shop a few times. It isn't always easy getting scolded by her. She's asked where my safety things are. For me, it's hard because I need cheater glasses to read my tape measure. And switching between my cheaters and safety glasses gets old quick. But with these awesome glasses, I have no excuses, and don't make any. I use them every time i walk into my shop. Great Job Carson. Life long customer unless I get eye surgery.

Loved them while they lasted.
I got these for work because I cannot take off my safety glasses and put on my readers. They worked perfectly for me. I usually wear 1.50 readers for some context, I will say I was very disappointed. The nose piece came off rendering them useless. If they could fix that nose piece they would be worth the money for sure.

Thought these glasses would work better than they do.
This is a very nice pair of safety goggles with a clip on magnifier. The goggles them selves, I like very much. The clip on glasses must be slightly out of alignment because they make me feel cross eyed when I attach them. Too bad, the idea is a good one, but I don't have good enough vision to feel safe using a table saw.

No more, onoffonoff with the cheaters! Finally!!
For the price, for the quality, for the SAFETY, I am so glad I found these! The flip up feature of the magnification makes me feel like I'm not an over 50 man who can't see anymore! I like them so much, grumpy old me decided to write a review - that's saying something!!

Finally a protective and magnifier that actually work together
I can go from protective eyewear to magnifiers with the flick of the wrist. Great job. They still look crude, mechanical, but I'm sure with time...a thinner more visually appealing hinge setup will be created

Clear and zoom
I just got this and it's amazing. The flip on 2x zoom lens is what makes the difference. Haven't really put it to enough use to rate the "scratch resistance". I'll post an update when have used it more. Case is nice and clear, glasses are slick :)

great for working underneath vehicles, but.. prolonged use causes eyestrain
These flippers are worlds better than the various safety glasses I've owned with small, built-in, magnified areas in the regular lenses, including a pair I had with magnification in the tops as well as bottoms.I need magnification up top for working under cars, for example.I remove the clip-on and use just the regular safety lenses for mowing and edging/weedeating, and attach it when needed for close-up work. It's very handy to be able to flip 'em up for looking across the garage or a little farther away while under the car, then flip 'em down to be able to see bolt threads, markings, torque wrench setting, etc.Optical quality needs improvement. There is noticeable distortion vs. no glasses and this caused me severe eyestrain and persistently blurred vision after prolonged use (e.g., several hours per day over several days). I am now in recovery mode. This model tends to rotate upward when I lean forward/down too much or tilt my head back too far. It's very annoying, as it messes with my vision unless I hold them in place with one hand, which obviously means I can't do any work that requires both hands. This is also the case without the magnifier attached, so it isn't just because of the additional mass of the clip-on. This model is worse about this than some other safety glasses I've owned.I'll probably secure these in place with an elastic strap or cord to go under my chin or around the back of my neck. The glasses don't fall forward away from my face when I lean over. The legs keep them pulled back just fine on my narrowish head, even with the added mass of the clip-on.Like most other safety readers I've tried, this model leaves a gap below my eyes, which invites flying debris to get thrown up under the lenses. Not good. I was getting debris bouncing up into this area while weedeating with my last pair of safety glasses. I have safety goggles that I could wear instead, but I decided to seal that area on those glasses by attaching clear silicon weatherstrip tape to the lenses. It looks strange, but it works. Evidently, I'll have to give the same treatment to this model. If the designers could have resisted the urge to be stylish (or whatever drove them to this weird decision) and not curved the lens bottoms upward in this area, this gap would be practically non-existent on my face.I use SoftSeal N95 3D masks for dusty environments. These masks have a rather large metal nose bridge piece and silicon seal surround, so they push most glasses up quite a bit. I have to use the masks farther forward and safety glasses behind the bridge, which ends up with the masks really digging into my nose. This gets very uncomfortable after a while and leaves a big, sore red mark. This model is no better or worse than other safety glasses in this department. I wish someone would design safety glasses that are meant to wear with such masks. If they would improve optics and fill in that gap under the eyes, this could be a 5-star product.
