Is this camera wireless as the Amazon description says it is. YouTube reviews seem show it's not

You will need to connect it to power supply using wire. But WiFi is wireless. You will not need LAN cable to connect it to internet if you don't want to.

Is the camera compatible with google home? 🤔

All EZVIZ smart cameras work with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT. Just voice-enable the live viewing with “Hey Google” or “Alexa” to check what’s happening on a bigger screen.

Using 4G to camera will not connect remotely. My vincture ip camera does perfectly. Why dies it hang on the buffer at 80 % using my dmart phone

I plugged mine into the router box set it up and just use it vier the net ,,, I downloaded the app on a iPhone 14 works no problem but the miss could not on her honor phone

Does it have to be screwed in to the ceiling?

The unit comes with a bracket and screws should you wish to screw it in bit that is not necessary. We have two units free standing in a couple of locations as needed. We put double sided adhesive tape on the base to secure it to the flat surface and that has worked well. I hope that helps.
