I cut my own kids' hair, and it was perfect timing for this pair of scissors to pop up on Amazon because the current pair I was using were getting old and dull (kinda like me!). This pair of scissors is such an improvement! I haven't used them on my kids' hair yet, but I did use them to cut through some seriously thick hair on my costume wig prior to Halloween, and it cut right through it all like butta. I like that they're a bright pink (even though I'm not much of a pink person) because their cheery color makes them so much easier to find in the usually messy drawer where I keep them, and I have to admit that the glitter on the handles is a fun little touch that speaks to my inner 1980's child. :)

I absolutely love this color and if I could buy everything in this pink I would. The scissors are very sharp and fit nicely in my fingers without discomfort. The quality of these is really good and don't feel or look cheap.

I prefer to cut my own hair, and I generally do so with inexpensive hair scissors like these!These scissors are comfortable in my hand, the finger rest being straight is a bit of a change from the curved style I'm used to but I liked it, it was easy to adapt to. I do have small hands, so the finger holes fit me well, larger hands will definitely struggle with that.They are sharp and cut cleanly, I just gave myself a cut with them and I was pleased with how they felt in my hand and how they cut. I was able to do a bit of point cutting with these, though I'm not skilled at that and I think sharper point scissors are probably better for that task. These are a bit blunted at the tip and that makes me less likely to accidentally poke myself while cutting, so it's not a bad thing!Overall, a good value for a great pair of hair scissors!

TL;DR While I'm not a barber, these seem like very nice quality scissors which cut hair effortlessly, but they are a little hard to hold on to.The GoodMost of the member of my family, boys and girls, prefer to do their own hair cutting. The boys mostly use clippers, but the girls use the scissors to trim the ends of their hair. Unlike other scissors we've used, these were excellent! They have a nice weighty feel and the scissor action feels smooth and crisp. Whereas cheap scissors will push the hair out of the way as you try to cut it (leaving you with a diagonal hair line), these cut cleanly and precisely through the hair leaving a nice, straight hair line.The BadThe finger holes are a bit on the small side. That is really what prevented me from giving this product 5-stars. While my daughters didn't seem to have any complaints about the grips, I felt like I didn't have as good of control as I would have liked because I couldn't get my finger tips very far into the holes. Here again, I'm not a barbar, so perhaps I'm simply not using them right. But that was my biggest complaint.The Ugly - Well, maybe...The ones we got were hot pink. Actually, I thought it was a pretty nice looking, hot pink, but some people don't like pink, so this one is completely subjective.
