Robert Frederick Van Gogh Irises Ballpoint Pen in Gift Box

These Van Gogh Irises pens are completely useless. I bought two for my wife together with the matching notebook as a Christmas stocking filler. My wife used them for doing a daily wordsearch puzzle. They looked very pretty, but the first one lasted about a fortnight and the second, even less time, stopped working after a week. Very disappointing. For nearly £10 each they should have lasted much longer!

Although I love the pen it does not retract as it should, meaning I often have ink stains in my bag. Thus its quality is reduced & in no way would I give this as a gift. Also, it is very difficult to write with. Waste of money

Lovely looking item but ceased to work after a few days - retraction mechanism broke whilst in use.

I liked using the pen I bought in 19th October 2025 and today whilst writing with it the internals broke, the nib disappeared and become a pretty stick! When I tried to open it, it is completely sealed. I tried to open the top, the middle and even the area when the nib pokes out, the normal places pan open to change a biro refill but everything was absolutely rigid! It apparently says it has a 6 month warranty so I've emailed Robert Frederick company first ( I'll then contact Amazon), so we shall see.

Not worth the money, the pen has broken after using it just for 1 hour. Now, if twisting to get the tip of the pen out, the system won't work, so the tip of the pen stays inside you can't write anymore.

I have bought two of these pens they have both broken within a few days save your money and buy the canvas instead - so disappointed.

Sadly once my sister opened it the nib wouldnt come out and as she lives in france its not possible to return easily.

The ink run out in three weeks which is totally unfair for purpose. The pen was used sparingly.
