The teapot is beautifully styled and works great. I read a previous review about the annoying chime but I like it. It is expensive and I am sure a less expensive option is available but I am very pleased with it.

This is a very nice water boiler. It's just that the cost does not justify the functionality.

I received this as a Christmas gift after my old Cuisinart water pitcher died and untimely death. I had been drooling over the aesthetics of the Smeg appliances for a long while and was thrilled that the gift giver had taken notice. Although surprised that this pitcher is mostly plastic - It's gorgeous on my counter & does do a superior job of heating water than the Cuisinart model. I'm thrilled to have it and hope to acquire the Smeg coffee maker and toaster soon. It's an eye catcher and visitors to my home always ask where we found it.

The first thing you notice is how stylish the unit is. It does perform well and has chimes that let you know when the desired temperature is reached. Be careful if you’re moving around around the rubber inserts on each leg could potentially pop out because of friction. Otherwise the top sticks a little bit unless you angle it back because of the plastic construction. Overall it gives my kitchen a pop and it’s a great experience using it.

Nice looking kettle, simple to use, electric cord quality could be better. This bigger model Doesn't have double wall" to my surprise, the smaller one has does, even though is cheaper. if you have kids, be careful because this one, gets Really Hot 🔥 to the touch. Too expensive Not to be a double wall kettle.
