Got this to go along with my freeze dryer. I put the food into jars and suck out the air to keep the foods crisp and flavorful.I had trouble getting them to seal though. Just the other night I would seal a jar and it looked sealed but then a few moments later it would come undone. It was super frustrating.One tip was to use only brand new lids. I try to recycle the canning lids and use the old ones on jars that aren't going to be canned like with freeze drying.When I tried again with the new lid it worked and it stayed on.Hopefully that helps someone else.

I deleted a star because the description calls this an electric vacuum sealer. It is not electric. It works with a battery that must be recharged through a USB port (cord is included).I like this simple set because my vacuum-sealing needs are fairly small -- just sealing up pantry items from time to time. It works fine with mason jars and with the included storage bags. The more I use it, the more uses I find for it. The vacuum-sealing is not robust, and recharging the battery is a bother, but it does the job. I think it's a great starter set.

I already have a large vacuum sealing unit and purchased a set to allow me to seal mason jars a while back. It works just fine, but I don't use the sealer very often and have to dig it out which I hate doing for just one or two things. This little gadget makes it so much easier and takes up almost no space compared to the large sealer so there's a much better chance of me actually using it. It seals and inflates, I think everyone could benefit from one of these at some time or another. Super handy!

The sous vide bags are nice and ready to use. There are extra ports to use on other bags. The vacuum has lots of suction.

This vacuum sealer works better than I expected and puts out a very nice vacuum for what it is. Great for selling up jars and bags with the proper attachments which are included and it's a very small and compact size with decent battery life and decent quality materials. Can definitely recommend it, especially for its portability!

The media could not be loaded.  This was simple and straightforward to use and understood. The package came with lids already and bags. I would stick to more jars and small packagings. For the suction power could handle at it best.Plus the package came with wire to charge it. Some other accessories. The instructions are printed on the box.I would mainly use this in the kitchen for my spices and other items.What’s great about this is I can store it my kitchen draws to have readily available to reseal jars, allowing me to have longer use and stay fresh.
