TORRAS Magnetic & Stand for Google Pixel 8 Pro Case, Translucent Black

This review is for the Google Pixel 8 Pro kickstand, magsafe case from Torras. I've broken down my review into three parts describing features that I consider most important regarding a phone case. I think others searching for a quality case for their own smartphone should find this helpful. Price: I spent a good amount of time searching on Google as well as Amazon looking for a phone case that came with a kickstand. Although this kickstand case by Torras was on the pricier end of the spectrum, it was NOT the most expensive case by far. With many phone cases, you really get what you pay for, so if you you're looking for a good case to protect your phone, you're going to have shell out some money. Fortunately, with this Torras case you get great quality and value. Regarding quality, let's talk about the kickstand. My biggest concern with any kickstand case would be the durability and quality of the kickstand. One of the biggest complaints I found reading reviews for other case providers was that the kickstand oftentimes was flimsy and ultimately failed rather quickly. I'll say that thus far the kickstand on the Torras case feels very sturdy and not at all shaky while propping my phone up. Only time will tell how long the kickstand lasts, but I'll be sure to provide and update if or when it begins to fail. This also comes with a magsafe magnet, but I have yet to use it, so I can't speak to that yet. Fit: Excellent! The case fits very snug on my Pixel 8 Pro. I am not at all fearful of it slipping out of the case. The case profile is also very slim, so the case does not add much bulk to an already big and heavy Pixel phone. The case exterior also provides a nice grip, so it doesn't feel like my phone is going to slip out of my hand. Protection: I've already accidentally dropped my phone a few times with the Torras case on, and my phone remains damage free. Because the fit is so perfect, my phone feels very well protected from edge to edge. Another thing I'll point out that is great about this case is that the interior part of the case does NOT make little microscratches on my phone. I've had cases in the past that have completely scratched up the edges of my phones and thus far I have not had that issue my the Torras case.

Daily case for my Pixel 10 Pro. The translucent black finish is the selling point—a proper satin/matte finish, not the cheap gloss you get from half the cases at the top of an Amazon search. It’s sleek and dark, showing the phone through without looking busy. The flush kickstand is genuinely strong: it holds the phone at a good angle for video or calls without flopping, and it folds flat, adding no bulk. MagSafe charges and mounts just fine, and it fits the PixelSnap line. The magnet is very strong. The honest caveat after six months is that the satin coating is starting to wear off in spots. There are no chunks or cracks—just some wear around the edges from handling. That’s the one thing stopping me from calling it flawless. It’s worth it anyway. Most of what tops the search results at this price feels thinner and cheaper next to it; this one is a real step up in hand feel, and the kickstand actually earns its place. If you want a case that feels more premium than the default options, this is it—just go in knowing that the coating is the part likely to wear first. It’s still five stars from me. Every case will age in some way, and it depends on what else you carry in your pocket. I went with a cheaper case for my Pixel 11 Pro so I’d have something on launch day, but TORRAS is on my radar now for quality cases in the future.

Really impressed with the TORRAS Pixel 11 Pro case. The case feels strong and premium, but still looks slim and clean. The built-in adjustable stand is very useful for watching videos or video calls. Magnetic attachment works smoothly and holds securely with MagSafe accessories. The matte finish gives a nice grip and doesn’t attract fingerprints easily. Overall, a great combination of protection, style, and functionality. And to be honest I AM A BIG FAN OF TORRAS PRODUCTS QUALITY NOW.

This case is sleek, slim, and overall a solid option for the Pixel 8 Pro. The built-in stand is excellent—sturdy, flush with the case when not in use, and perfect for propping the phone up for video calls or streaming. The MagSafe compatibility works great. The only drawback I’ve noticed is that the front lip sits lower than my previous cases, which means the screen has slightly less protection if the phone were to fall face-down. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if maximum front protection is a priority. Overall, it’s a good balance of style, functionality, and protection. If you value a kickstand and reliable magnetic charging, this case is an excellent pick.

I purchased this case to try out some Magsafe accessories with my Pixel, specifically battery packs to prevent my phone from dying on vacation trips where we use Google Maps frequently enough to drain the battery. I purchased this case alongside an Anker MagGo battery and from what I've tested so far, the magnet ring placement seems pretty spot on. I also appreciate that the ring is situated physically on the inner side of the case, unlike some of the competitors which just use an external adhesive magnet ring that can come off with frequent use. I also purchased a car mount and the case is able to be held very steadily. The ring does not interfere with normal charging stands - I use a first gen Pixel Stand to charge my phone overnight and that works perfectly fine with this case. Installation is easy and fit is secure to the phone. Works perfectly well with my glass screen protector. I have no dropped my phone with this case, but the materials used appear like they would do a sufficient job protecting the phone in the event if a drop. The texture is smooth, but with just enough grip to feel secure in the hand. The black color, specifically the slight transparency looks great with the Obsidian version of the Pixel 8 Pro. The built in stand can be slightly tippy in the portrait orientation if the stand is not fully pulled out, but I have yet to have any issues with it. My prior phone case could only support landscape orientation for its built in stand, so I appreciate that this one case accommodate both orientations. The metal hinge also seems much sturdier than the plastic one on my prior case. The stand is actually very solid feeling in that respect. Overall a very good value for the money. Especially considering it is cheaper than many of the competitor cases I saw, I am very satisfied with it.

Torras continues to pump out quality cases for the pixel line. The case features a slightly transparent background, same as their other cases. This is always a plus for me since you can see the Google logo still. I've had no issues with the magnet and it doesn't interfere with wireless charging. I love how they continue to make cases with the raised lips on the camera and screen. This adds an additional layer of protection. BUT TORRAS- add just alittle more depth on the front lip. Give us a little more protection for the screen! The case itself is pretty solid and the corners are slightly reinforced. The new kickstand looks more modern with the round design compared to their older cases. The kickstand hinge doesn't give or wiggle, similar to their other cases- so nice and solid. I don't have to worry about my phone falling when using the kickstand. Major plus is that the case is screen protector friendly. The only thing is would say they could do better is adding some more texture on the side for more grip, but thats a personal choice. Overall, it's a great case if you want a slim design with a few extra features.

Never thought I'd write a review about a phone case but here I am. After my old one got cruddy, gross, and started to fall apart, I replaced with this TORRAS. I love the nonslip material. The buttons feel like buttons, not like buttons with a gel coating, you can't even tell they're also protected. The kickstand is pretty rad too. Definitely a high quality case.

Very well made case, fits perfectly and feels solid. Cases are essential for anyone who wants to take care of their phone, and this one is really great. I wanted rubberised protection with a kick stand and mag charge support. Not tested the mag charge yet, but the kick stand is great very stable and well engineered. Snaps closed in a very satisfying way too. The back attracts fingerprints but seems easy to wipe clean. Internationally shipped to the UK so it took longer than I hoped but the seller responded quickly with additional tracking info when I reached out. Highly recommended for Pixel 8 Pro. The only negative after a few weeks use is that in landscape mode when using the kickstand the volume buttons are facing down so they are impossible to use.
