Good value for the money, nice design.
OVERALL: There is lots to love about this rocker. It is nicely designed, ingeniously engineered, made of durable, sustainable materials that are weather-proof, low maintenance, comfy and reasonably sturdy. It comes well packed (cleverly with very little styrofoam and waste!) and the packet with the hardware and instructions come attached to the box with a red ribbon. All very thoughtful. Because of how it is packed, the pieces are well protected and Amazon ships it to more places...like Hawaii. The trade-off is there are a few more parts to assemble. And the end result is beautiful, durable, weatherproof and reasonably comfortable. The overall effect is great – especially for the price – but there are a lot of screws and screw holes.FINISH & DETAILS: Compared to other outdoor polywood chairs sold on Amazon, the milling, edges and finish are a little rougher and some of the details are less consistent. I received 2 from 2 different production batches. 1 had a slightly smoother surface finish. 1 had milling deposits from a different color run. 1 had a crookedly placed logo plate. 1 had a slightly crooked back assembly with sharp staples sticking out. None of these inconsistencies were bad but did require a little extra work to correct. A fair trade-off for the savings, design and availability. Overall, very happy with the purchase.DURABILTY: The hardware is of excellent qualty. Very hard steel. The polywood lasts through all kinds of weather much better than wood. And the engineering seems to allow theses chairs to be fairly rigid and long lasting. Time will tell. There are metal plates screwed into the rockers for rigidity and strength.ASSEMBLY: The design, engineering and instructions keep things simple BUT add extra parts and steps that are often prebuilt prior to shipping. In this case there are 2 steps to each pair of legs, 2 steps to assembling the back and 1 step to build the seat...when all these things are usually pre-assembled. Not difficult to do. Just part of a tradeoff on price and availability for shipping. Instructions are clearer than most. Use care when assembling as there are no extra parts. And the little supplied hex wrench will NOT get you through the job. You will not be able to screw 34 large screws 1'-2" deep into polywood with the small hex wrench provided. The end of the hex wrench gets chewed up about 1/3 of the way through. I also went through another allen wrench and 2 hex bits on an electric screwdriver. The excellent screws are very hard. Harder than most bits or allen wrenches. And the polywood is dense. Without and electric driver your hands will hurt. After chewing up bits and other wrenches, I found a harder allen wrench left over from a recent Adirondack chair assembly to finish the job. Is all this extra work worth it? Yes. Pre-drilled pilot holes would probably weaken the structure. And the sturdy, well designed rocker is totally worth it. Despite the 2-Star hex tool, you end up with a 4.9-star (I gave it 5) Mission-style rocking chair. Very happy with the end result.

Sturdy and Comfortable Rockers
I bought two. They weren’t too difficult to put together. I had an Allen wrench (hex key) with a handle on it which made assembly much easier on my handles and it helped with getting the screws in. On the pieces that didn’t have pre-drilled holes, I just tapped the screw to get it started. This made it much easier to get the screws in. The chairs are lovely! I got grey rockers and rust/red colored cushions. It’s my new favorite sitting area. They should last a long time since they are made of HDEP. Very pleased with my purchase.

Refer to the directions often
This was ordered for use outdoors on a covered porch. It looks good, feels sturdy and, with the wide center back panel, is more comfortable than the rockers we have had with thin back rods. However, assembly can be somewhat tricky. It was a one person job until the last bit when you attach the heavy back to the seat and rocker assembly. At that point you need another person to hold the back in place while the screws are put in. I assembled it by hand using the included Allen wrench and did not have the reported problem with stripping (although it was rough on the hands). Having a rubber mallet handy helps because some of the joins needed to be tapped into place. The biggest problem was that, while pilot holes were present in all the exterior sections, not all the interior sections had receiving pilot holes. I found it impossible to insert the screws into the sections without pilot holes and had to resort to using the smallest drill bit I had to start a pilot hole (not drilling in the full length, just enough to provide a starting place for the tip of the screw). At that point the screw grabbed nicely and could be inserted using the wrench with no great difficulty. Finally, it's important to keep the directions handy and refer to them often. All the parts are clearly marked, but it's easy to get turned around if you're not careful. Note that the manufacturer's metal label is on the outside of the front crossbar below the seat. Having that location indicated on the schematics would have solved some problems with perspective during assembly.

Sturdy and comfortable
I bought two of these rockers for our front porch. I love the color and they were easy to assemble. They are much sturdier and comfortable than I expected. They are lower to the ground than my previous set but not hard to get out of.

Great Rocking Chair
We are very pleased with the rocking chairs. They feel sturdy and are comfortable. Pretty easy to assemble. Having a proper Allen tip for a drill is the best. I cannot imagine having to use a manual Allen wrench, it would take so much longer. I highly recommend!

So nice!
Easy to put together. Took me about 20 minutes after unpacking it all. I used a drill with a hex bit and it made it go super fast. It’s sturdy and surprisingly comfortable.

WRONG SIZE PARTS IN BOX
I ordered two chairs. Put one together and one piece did not fit. Pulled the other piece out of the second box. Completely different size. Second chair went together as it should. STILL WAITING on new part.

Good product! Not as specific to install as other products.
Firm and solid. MUST be careful to install its due to NOT details oriented installation form.
