Solid peice of kit
Was sceptical at looking at cheaper smoker bbq's but this one caught my eye due to the 3.5mm thick steel chamber construction. I'm new to using smokers and doing the slow and steady cooking but this year I decided I really wanted to give it a go. I chose this due to the thickness of the steel, and the construction seemed decent. So far I have only done direct grilling using lunpwood charcoal for a quick family bbq, using the main cooking chamber rather than the smoking chamber. Got good temps to 200 plus degrees centigrade. Closing the lid upon completion it took a hood couple of hours for it to cool right down so the 5hick steel does hold the heat very well. I have done a test run on the smoking chamber/fire box and I found d it to maintain a good temp and got the main cooking chamber up to around 120 degrees centigrade. Maintained this for a good couple of hours with minimal fuss. Slight loss of smoke from the chamber doors (minimal) so I might one day use a sealing package you can buy. Planning on doing my first slow cool doing a leg of lamb and brisket. But so far so good. Assembly a bit tricky doing it on my own but managed it om. All parts were there and had no fuss. Once I've done a slow cook I will update this review. Brought this based on the price as from what I can see the oaklahome joe brand seems to be the go to one. Haven't used that before but if your able to spend a bit of money, this should last a good few years without deteriorating very fast. Grills are solid and coated, cooking area is ideal for small family bbq. ⁸

Amazing buy
Amazing product y sturdy thanks to its 3.5 rolled steel, easy to assemble only need the wife for one part of it. If it is your first time with an offset smoker I would look at buying this. It’s plenty big enough the hardest part is keeping temp but that me not the smoker. A recommended buy

Utterly Awesome
Bought this 4 maybe even 5 years ago and its seen plenty of action. Everything is as it should be, but some minor signs of wear and I mean "minor" on the outside. No rust throughout but we have kept it meticulously covered. All grill racks are as new still and all have been used regularly. No warping even to the charcoal bases in both drums. Smokes perfectly. I wanted one that would last more than one or two seasons and I chose right. This was the one and worth every penny. Easily moved around due to its strong design and undercarriage even though it weighs 14 Stone!!! No regrets and still very pleased with it.
