YES this jacket has minor issues - eg, the pockets are small and the pocket liners are flimsy. Yes the leather is tough when you get it and could use a saddle soaping. OK, yes. But this should not be relevant to the buyer of such a product. If you want a perfect jacket with perfect amenities that has been pre-distressed and conditioned, feel free to spend $450-600 getting it, or while you're at it, spend $800-1000 and get one custom built. I bought this jacket at just over $100, down from retail of $250. It is very thick and high quality LEATHER. The construction is intense, the stitching seems sound, it holds armor, and for me, a 280 pound football type, the XXL fits perfect and the armor all seems to fall in the right places, fairly securely. Of course, idiosyncracies in sizing will always be an issue - and maybe the proportions of the jacket will not serve everyone as it does me - perfectly. Although several of my friends have worn it ranging from 5'10" to 6'2" and 180 pounds up to 280 - and it seems to serve well across this range. Definitely if you're in the 180-200+ pounds range it seems as though a single XL will serve. People also complain about the liner, which is in fact also misplaced. It is a simple, quilted liner. There is not much to it at first glance, it is intended to fit under a fairly snug-fitting jacket with armor and to be flexible and not impair movement. But in fact - it is sewn well, double-stitched. It fits the zipper perfectly and fits the jacket shape perfectly. And it DOES add warmth - this is not winter jacket! But with the liner out, you're good to go Summer / Spring - with the liner in you can handle some early Spring and Fall / Late Fall action too. There are zippered vents on the rear of the jacket that are essential during hot days. If you open them and then unzip the front of the jacket say 1/3 of the way or even 1/2 way - the wind slams into the jacket, passes right around your body and out the back vents - very cooling effect. LOOKS very good - stylish and sporty, I get comments every time I wear it. Also irrelevant to the value of the product. But FYI. SUMMARY: INTENSE VALUE. Unbeatable riding jacket for the price. Strong, tough leather, armor elbows, shoulders, and back, solid construction - will improve your chances in cases of a fall, and will increase your level of security/well-being. Minor imperfections like small pockets or a flimsy liner pale in comparison to the overall value and protection. Better jackets DO exist - but they cost way, way more. Review: Minor Nits but Good Value - I found this jacket to be pretty consistent with the reviews. Fit: A 2X is usually a bit loose on me. This jacket in a 2X is a bit snug, but wearable. Sleeves are just a tad long for me. Shallow pockets, yes, but personally I don't use them so I don't care. Stiff leather - yes. I've never had or even seen a leather product so stiff. Before my first use I worked some leather conditioner into it, which helped somewhat. Hopefully with more use it will wear in and soften up. All these issues are, to me, minor nits. The jacket looks good, provides very good protection, is highly visible with the reflective stripes, and comes with back and elbow armor. I've looked everywhere and haven't seen a comparable jacket at this price.

Awesome jacket for a great price
I generally agree with the positive reviews posted below. Nice thick leather and heavy duty YKK zippers. Reflective striping looks like classic cafe style racing stripes during the day but are very effective in reduced light conditions. I rode into the office this morning with temps in the 40's and the liner removed with no real effects from the cold. Wouldn't do this for a long cold ride but for the 25 minute commute, it provided plenty of warmth. I also agree that you have to order up one size. I typically wear an XL jacket but went XXL with this purchase and it fits snuggly across the chest (Mind you, I could stand to lose a couple pounds but that should only improve the fit). The only issue with ordering up is that the sleeves are a bit too long for me. I found that I was able to roll them in about an inch and a half without much trouble or discomfort and then tucked my gloves in. The back vents are a nice touch. The armor plates seem very durable and are so well positioned that they are undiscernable while wearing the jacket. I can't imagine you are going to find a better full-leather jacket at this price.

Same as everyone else says.........and love it
Everyone says this jacket arrives stiff as hell and frankly, they're right. That said, it IS a nice jacket and under $100 so you're not gettin' exactly lamb skin. I spent the first few days I had it, rubbing it down with a leather conditioner (conditioner, not oil) and beat the crap out of it, rolled it up, threw it in a corner, sat on it, etc. and it made quite a difference in only a few days. For the money, this jacket is exceptional. It fits nicely, and yes, as a lot of people said the pocket liner material is really light and I wouldn't put anything valuable in them, but I also think because of where the "vent pockets" are on the back, these front and back pockets are meant to be flow through vents, and NOT pockets at all. I don't use them as pockets, period. While NOT high end armor, the armor is MUCH better than the "stock" armor I got with my Triumph mesh jacket. I would highly recommend this jacket, for the money.

Zipper broke on the first zip.
Value terrible because the zipper broke on the first zip. Immediate return. That went well.

Great quality for price.
It's a great Fall through Spring jacket. The leather feels pretty stiff and solid, but it breaks in after a few wears. It can get pretty hot when it gets warm out, so I ended up buying a mesh summer jacket as well. Plenty of pockets, the liner adds a lot of extra warmth, and mine is big enough that I can fit an extra fleece underneath if needed.

Good Jacket and overall a good buy.
Heavy duty jacket at a very good price. Looks good and fit as expected. Lining was kind of cheesy but the weight and construction of the jacket itself more than made up for it. Delivery was one day later than advertised but no big deal. Probably too heavy for summer use.
