Certainly good for me
After properly knackering my hip/leg joint when I fell over on some ice, I thought it best to protect from more pain. After nearly a month the bruises have nearly gone down. I have worn them maybe 8 times and after the first outing I’m completely used to them. They do feel a bit stiff but frankly in this mud and slop, I’ve had reason to test them a few times!! They do work, I certainly haven’t had such a smash with them on, but I would imagine they would take the edge off. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the waste elastic is a bit loose.... no big deal as I was advised (via previous reviews) to go bigger due to the legs being tight, and all this biking is making me pretty skinny!!

They look and feel really nice but they were too small for me
They look and feel really nice but they were too small for me, I am not sure how much impact they will absorb so I went for a slightly larger pair of IXS shorts instead.

Lightweight and minimal protection but juggle your bits about
These are light weight and have very little foam protection on them. It's exactly what I wanted. But there is one weird issue with the seat padding. It juggles my delicates about really uncomfortabley. Especially bad when walking. It's really not a nice feeling. So much that I'm contemplating not using them any more or going to go back to wearing underwear with them even though it's an extra layer.

Wierd fit
Definitely size up with these. I'm 5'8" although with chunky legs and the large was too small so had to go with XL! The padding on the outside seems to be well placed but padding runs all the way under the crotch and sit bones. This makes it feel like you are wearing a nappy/diaper and so have never worn them!

Wedgie shorts
Sent them back. Butt pads like a thick lump of cardboard that just wedgies you instead of protecting.

Could have been great
Rubbish fit as others have said I wasn’t sure if I had them on the right way around the chamois is really bulky at the front and makes them uncomfortable to even try on, I knew sizing was off I’m a large in the majority of brands so I ordered L & XL the Large were far too snug and the XL has the same front chamois issue,HaPpy Monday’s squeezing my melons man
