I haven't used yet but wish to make my own dolly bobbin to make knitted tubes. Unfortunately any on the market are either too big or too small, so guessing this should do the trick. I also sew from time to time and this will solve the turning problem.

I bought it for pulling seams through after overlocker but it has a very large hook so it's useless for me but it may be suitable for other jobs.

I wasn’t looking for small loops, but for one long one that could pull waistbands or hoodie cords through. I needed something somewhat strong. I would’ve traded all the lightweight tic-tac products for one longer stronger alternative.
