Is this product Stove cleaner, as per description, or Liquid sander, as per image?

This is the product I purchased as a wall and paint cleaner for decorating. It’s good stuff and have used it to clean all sorts. I will buy again

Will this remove Blu tack stains from painted walls?

No reason why it shouldn't. It removed tough kitchen grease, some very thick, slimy wallpaper paste and a lot of dust for me. Leave on for a few mins so it loosens the stain. It really is very effective and leaves walls smooth.

Is this any good to remove distemper from walls?

It’s a brilliant degreaser but I’m not sure it would remove coatings. I use it to clean old furniture prior to painting but I still rub down with sandpaper. I think the name is a bit misleading.

Does this make varnished wood suitable for painting, without having to sand the varnished wood?

It's great stuff for cleaning paintwork before painting but I don't think its strong enough to remove paint or varnish
