This is a great little freezer with slightly more room than most. This is 3.8 versus 3.5 for the others.It had plastic on it and you did remove most of it. It was very difficult. In hindsight, we should have just left it on because you could barely see it and it would add protection.It's been freezing very well and keeping at a constant 0° with only having the temperature setting at normal.I measured the dB sound and the manufacturer is correct at around 40 dB.It does not take up much room and has two wheels so can be moved very easily.The electrical cord comes out the same side as the vent rather than coming out of the back. There is room enough underneath where the cord can go and plug in that way if needed. That's what I did.All in all, a fantastic freezer for the price.

I finally convinced my girlfriend to buy a compact chest freezer for long-term storage. This freezer has been excellent so far, and is a terrific value. I bought an inexpensive but accurate freezer thermometer to use with this unit, and it easily maintains sub-zero temperatures as long as it’s not overloaded. The unit is also very efficient, and the compressor barely needs to operate to maintain a particular setting. So I believe it will only cost about $20-30/yr in power to operate, like the government label says—at least under temperate conditions.

Works well, but way smaller than I expected.

I got this to keep a couple deer in. I easily fit 60 pounds of ground venison and it's great. Kris everything frozen solid without taking up to much room.

This freezer was the perfect size for my needs and worked great until... I purchased it on June 6, 2023 and it arrived a couple weeks after. Plugged it in, added a thermometer and waited 72 hours before adding food. The freezer completely quit one year later. I lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. My previous freezer lasted over 12 years. The lights are on and show its "working" but it's leaking all over the floor and the food is thawed and ruined. I do not recommend this at all!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed an inexpensive but workable freezer because I'm planning to put vegetables in the freezer for the winter. So far it's working great. I hope it continues to do so because I can't fit all the vegetables I'm growing in my main freezer.

It came in damaged. I donated it to a shelter I volunteer at. It works great. I bought one locally and had it delivered for my place. Seems to work perfectly!
