How loud is this keyboard? How tactile is this?

Our gaming keyboard is not mechanical. It's relatively quiet it only makes noise if you're pressing keys rapidly and hard.

Do I have to use this for gaming or can I use it like a regular keyboard?

You can definitely use it as a regular keyboard, and it actually helps a lot when typing in the dark.
