If you follow the instructions it will be fine.
It would probably have been easier for a younger person, but eventually the chair is assembled correctly and in use. It is comfortable and I like the rocking motion. Looks modern and fits in our little study very well.

Great Buy - Treat Your Derrière
Great seat for the money, comfy, well made and looks good. Nice thick cushion. Needs assembly but not hard. Don't tighten any screws until you have put all of them in and not just the part you are on. Tighten gradually in a circular pattern and not tighten any one screw fully. Make sure the seat base is on the right way. The mechanism is marked Front with an indented word and the seat base as a sticker. The tilt won't work if you get it wrong. Well worth trying before you blow a fortune on an expensive one.

Bought for my son to use, he needs a good quality office chair to study, so far looked at the use of very good!
