A majestic experience
In the world of black puddings there are many delighs awaiting the BP addict and this is one of them . Full of flavour and texture but somewhat softer than its UK cousins, this is a treat on its own, or, contributing excellemce to casseroles vsuch as oxtail in rioja wine. Either way this should be placed well up in the heirarchy of BP experiences.

Very good.
The smoking isn't too in your face. Quite oily once you open the shrink wrap, and there's a lot of fat comes out when cooking. Some rather solid lumps of fat remain after cooking. I think this would be the ideal morcilla for adding into stews.

its perfect for various Spanish dishes
Couldn't make a Spanish Fabada without this. It truly is an exception product and really allows me to bring the tastes and aromas of Spain into my little slice of Britain. It is full of flavour. Rich and smokey, its perfect for various Spanish dishes. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that morcilla is the crucial and dominant flavour in various Spanish dishes.

It did not have a good flavour
when you slice open the sausage , it contained large pieces of lard. Not what I expected. They were a disappointment

I GET ONE, AND TOOK ME 5 HOURS TO DIGEST.INSIDE THERE IS SOME HARD PARTS, AND QUALITY IS VERY VERY POORIS £26 /KG, WITH THIS MONEY , BUY SIRLOIN STEAK, YOU WILL BE MUCH BETTERDO NOT BUY -- DO NOT BUY

Great if you like smoked paprika.
As a family we love morcilla,so I was delighted to find it here and purchased one as a 'sample'.When the pack arrived (very quickly) I saw there were 3 sausages-great for trying as tapas.Unfortunately these were smoked Morcilla-very tasty but far too salty for us.We were hoping for the usual dark 'aniseed' flavour we so love, however it is always good to try something new.On flavour alone I won't be purchasing these again,but for the price the quality was good.
