A absolutely Elvis
This was Elvis's first live show since leaving the army and the first show in another country. This was televised in America live we had to be content with a film of this concert and then it was only a short version.we robbed of lot of things in Britain .Like never having seen the king in concert. This CD is brilliant I really enjoyed it the Memphis recording service have done a great job of keeping the kings name alive the work they have done cleaning up the sound quality is great .I would have no hesitation in recommending this CD

What the world lost!!
Elvis at the very top of his game. Few decent live recordings exist from his peak in the 1950's but this recording from 1961 - his last until the 1968 TV Special - shows a more mature sound with two guitars, piano and saxaphone added to the stand-up base and drums and Jordanaires of his 1950's shows. The song performances are great with Elvis in good form playing with an extatic audience. It's a crime against popular culture that he was not permitted to continue live performances duing the 1960's. But this is a real gem!
