These are GREAT
The original Lincoln fobs are cheap plastic that break easily if u drop them, which I do a lot. These may not be any better quality but they seem to be exactly the same as OEM. Just pop out the green computer board, emergency key, and CR2032 batts (two, with + sides of both touching) and reassemble in the new pieces. There’s no instructions, so if this stuff doesn’t come easily to you, take pics of the original key fob as you disassemble it. And don’t forget there are TWO sides of the fob that need to be popped off and reassembled. The first has the green board, nestled in the translucent rubber protector, and batteries. Use a knife to pop that side off. The second opens with the little latch, enclosed is your emergency key. Make sure not to throw that away! Once all is reassembled, press hard to snap together. EDIT: THESE TWO SRE CHEAP PLASTIC, I dropped it and it exploded. Keeping the 5 stars tho as it seems to be the exact item it’s replacing.

Quick and Easy! Replaced my broken one
This takes all of maybe 5 minutes to swap out. My mom and dad broke one of their key fobs. They were complaining about the fear of losing it since the key chain part had broken off. I ordered from Amazon and it was there the next day. easy to install, buttons line up perfectly, looks just like the OG. Perfect replacement at a great price. Would buy again!

Doesn't click back together
Went to change the casing from the old to the new which you have to push the button at the top got everything out of the old one tried to put the new shell on and it wouldn't click back together then the top button broke had to use old back piece just to make it work not worth the money I normally don't put reviews but this was a surprise for my wife and it was a disaster

A sturdy replacement
That middle section, that holds the board, didn’t work for me. I just used the one that came with my original fob. It fit perfectly. Because in the replacement, the batteries kept popping out. I guess it wouldn’t work for you if that is the part that needed replacing. Mine was not damaged, so it was fine.

Not easy, but it is the the right fob.
Its a pain in the butt to snap together especially if you use a combination of 2025 and 2032 batteries for a little bit more battery life. 2 2025 batteries should snap together a little easier. Once you take your old fob apart, put the old metal key into the back slot of the new battery compartment piece. Then put your new silicone button cover over the old mother board and set it into the half of the fob that has the buttons. Next, make sure the silver metal key ring attachment is attached to the outer back part of the fob. Next snap the battery piece into the outer back part of the fob starting at the side with the key ring and as you close it, use your finger nail to pull down the little spring button on the back side. It should snap together. Put your batteries in flat smooth side with the + together. Lastly, snap the 2 main pieces together starting at the side opposite the key ring and try to avoid touching the car alarm button unless you dont really care what your neighbors think. This part is difficult because the amount of force required for this last snap might require a pair of pliers and wrap the plastic with a tissue to avoid scratching the fob. Do everything slow and watch as the pieces come together to make sure they're going in right. Remeber, its plastic. It wants to break so you have to buy a new one. Otherwise, it would be a heck of a lot simpler to put together.

Not easy to install but it finally works.
It was difficult to get it put back together because the batteries wouldn’t stay in place. It took four hands to get it together but we finally managed.

Don’t hesitate
Bought this shell since my fins had all broken. Works great. Highly recommend.

Works great!
Perfect fit, it also comes with the battery backing and if you want to get a new key cut it comes with the blanks. I broke the metal ring off of my factory fob and this is the perfect replacement. I used my back plate just because it has the ford logo on it but the one that comes with would be just fine too!
