Q: I’ve lost the instructions for the potato baker... can anyone help?

Cooking instructions. Place and press potatoes on spikes to puncture them. Turn potatoes over and press again to puncture other side. Microwave on full power. As guide 1 medium potato may take 6 mins. 4 larger ones about 13 mins. Depends on power of microwave. Test by piercing with a fork to check for softness. I always finish off in a hot oven to crisp the skin. hope this helps.

Sorry, no idea, as l dont use sweet potato.

No it doesn't, it keeps the potatoes away from the microwave plate so potato cooks evenly, the spikes hold the potatoes firmly while cooking, I also pierce the skin with the spikes to stop the skin splitting. If you want crispy when cooked take off the frame as that melts under direct heat and put potatoes under the grill or in a airfryer or oven for a few minutes.
