The Resistor Kit I Reach for Without Thinking
Covers Basically Everything I Need What makes this kit useful is the range. From near 0Ω jumpers all the way up to megaohm values, I almost always find what I need without digging through random bins or placing another order. 1% Tolerance Actually Matters I didn’t think I’d care much about tighter tolerance at first, but I’ve noticed the difference—especially when working on circuits where values need to be consistent. It takes some of the guesswork out compared to cheaper 5% kits. Perfect for Prototyping and Repairs I’ve used this kit for: Breadboard projects Fixing boards (like PSUs and consoles) Quick testing and substitutions It’s especially helpful when I’m troubleshooting and need to swap values quickly.

Small compact box neatly contains a large variety of 1% 1/4 resistors.
This small compact box contains just about any value of 1% 1/4W resistor you are likely to need. Ten resistors of each value are fixed on a section of a strip of reel tape with the specific value printed on. This makes for a much more compact way of storing your resistors compared to the old sectioned pull out drawers which take up space and have a tendency to tip over and spill out everything. The selection is good for finding which values you are going to use the most so later you can order of just those values that you need the most.

Good value, thin leads
Good pack for building up bench stock of lots of different values. Been using them to breadboard DIY guitar pedals. The leads are really really thin, not as thick as the other pack of resistors I got in a different kit. But it will be fine when I start soldering. They are a little thin for breadboarding.

Excellent value -- a lot of fun for the money
Good: 500 resistors (< 2 cents each) is a lot of resistors and will probably be my lifetime supply, The standard resistance values such as 330, 1K, 4.7k, 10k, 47kΩ are quite faithful to their described values.- certainly within a couple percent. Bad: Considering these are 1/4W, there are quite a few values which I personally will never use - those under 100Ω and those over 1MΩ which account for a couple hundred of the 500. Non standard values such as 51kΩ vary wildly in their tolerances. Ugly: The color codes, to me, were very muddled and under the strongest light I could not distinguish between brown, red and orange. Black was very distinguishable but other colors were non descript. Color code didn't matter much for the values that were way off in their tolerance. For example a 51k that's off by 30 percent is your 33kΩ or 68kΩ resistor - just have a good ohm meter at your disposal and go with it. It is what it is. Strange: Forgive my rant: Included in the vast array of resistors was a 0 Ω resistor. I am befuddled because in my experience we just called it a jumper. AI contends that there are 5 good reasons to use a 0 Ω resistor and all suggest faulty design work at some stage. What's a resistor that doesn't resist; it's a wire with a lump in the middle. Forgive me I couldn't let the concept of the 0 Ω resistor go and without it I probably wouldn't have written this review - a 0 Ω resistor(short) was as unnerving as a 0 mhos ℧/S conductor(open.) Thanks for your patience.

Great Resistor Deal for Hobbyist
The box comes with plenty of resistors. The resistors are taped together nicely and the rating of the resistors are clearly printed on the top paper tape so you don't have to look at the color code of the resistor to figure what its resistance is. Not bad for a low cost box of assorted resistors.

Poor tolerances
Fine for most uses but tolerances are not good. Many resistors are off by 5-10%.

Get three different brand boxes if you want all of the variety.
Great addition to my Electronics Laboratory Bench. I've got three different plastic boxes of 1% resistor kits because each box has values that the other two boxes don't have. Hopefully I have all of the values I will ever need.

Works well for me.
A nice combination of values, very precise values in some of the values measured , useful for those electronic projects or repair.
