Good value additional storage for a vehicle
I recently bought two reclining loungers for our holidays and bought this to transport them.An additional non slip mat is required. It comfortably held the two recliners, two folding chairs a folding table and assorted paraphernalia including a small set of steps to make installing, loading and unloading easier for me.Our car has built in rails so fitting the bag was a doddle. It does come with additional straps and can be used on vehicle without rails. It appears to be robustly constructed of a weatherproof material. The weakness for water ingress would be the zips but they are both substancial and well protected with a flap that when folded over the zip should keep out most moisture. Our trip was dry in both directions so I cannot say whether that aspect worked in practice. Some thought needs to be given to packing things into the bag so that it keeps a reasonable shape when loaded. Our trip was just over 200 miles on mixed roads including motorways and the bag remained firmly in place throughout. All in all I am very happ with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone wanting cost effective additional storage for their vehicle.

Using this roof bag with no roof bars
Space wise, it was amazing. We camped the NC500 around Scotland for 10 days and easily fit all of our things in there (we had a lot) and had more room than we needed. Since we didn't have roof bars, we clipped in in place inside the car doors, which was sturdy and it stayed in place but came with a big catch. The first night, it poured it down with rain and the straps got soaked, and the rain travelled through them, into the car. The seats were wet and we had to keep driving through the rain all day with the straps dripping on us! (See image of crisp packet engineering that saved us from this). There was also a big puddle inside the bag itself (we later discovered a small rip) and my friends bag got soaked. Lesson learnt - we only stored certain things in there from then on that we didn't mind getting wet. We planned this really last minute so this roof bag saved our skin, but also became a bit of a hassle. To stop the car getting wet on rainy nights (via the straps) we had to either put it in the tent or empty it and put it in a bin bag in the car. If you're not in a rainy country, or if you have roof bars, this will be a great purchase. For us it served its purpose, was a good cheap alternative to having roof bars installed, but got us a little damp.

It's massive, well made, great value for money!
It's huge!!! Got it primarily to go camping. Appears really well made. Yet to find out if its waterproof, but plan to place a showercurtain over the top of our gear just in case. Tough handles and zips with secure velcro fastenings. I got the non slip mat too that's recommended and it's just the right size. It's long enough for campbeds/chairs. I have managed 1 bed, 3 chairs, 3 sims, 3 sleeping bags, small camping table, tent carpet, groundsheets x2, and 6 sponge squares which I placed on the bottom for extra cushioning and there is still room, but am mindful of weight on my car roof 😬. Will edit review once I've driven it on the car and if it rains. Fixings that come with it are good and it all fits in the bag provided which could be bigger. (taken a few practices to fold it the right way to get it back into storage bag) I do feel it would benefit from 2 more lash straps which I have purchased seperately as I intend to feed them through the car. If you are attaching to bars there are 6 anchor points and all the fixings provided, but only 2 lash straps provided if you are feeding then through car doors. So purchased 3 more to double on on side doors and 1 through boot, just for peace of mind. I drive a Hyundai Tuscon.Edited 20th Aug200 mile round trip, stayed in place and everything inside dry after rain.

Excellent capacity and fluid in shape.
no need for roof bars. fit within roof rails of karoq. strapped down with additional supplied straps. not rigid like a roof box so able to squeeze in thongs. zips and velcro to seal the lip down to avoid water ingress. driven in uk rain for 250 miles. no issues. Great value alternative and very large capacity. did not damage my roof but you could buy their other item which comes with a roof mat.

Great waterproof truck bed cargo bag
Used for over 3,400 miles and 10 straight days from Pennsylvania to the Florida Keys and back. Strapped into the bed of a 2020 GMC Crew Cab 6'6" bed with 3 levels of hitch points in each corner of the bed. Bag was well packaged and came in a nylon cinched bag with 6 elastic rope hooks. Opened the bag in the bed and hooked the top 4 corners, of the bag to the highest corner hitch points to support the top of the bag and give it dimension. Loved the 2 zippers and that 3 sides opened, so inputting items was easy. Thickness of the material was fine and the finish allowed items to easily slide in and out. Put suitcases in large bags and tied, but drove through 10 hours of rain, which was very heavy for long intervals and the inside of the cargo bag was completely dry upon arrival. I also left the bag in the bed of the truck during our stay in which it rained 2 more times heavily overnight and still no water inside the bag. It is true that in warm weather, +70°, the bag material is very pliable. And between 55°-70°, the material is stiffer and requires some tugging to get the large flaps over the zippers with velcro to hold the flaps down. I made sure that my truck bed's drain holes were cleared before our trip, so there was never any standing water in my bed. Overall the bag with the provided hooks and $30 discount off the almost $100 price, I think this was a good buy and I would recommend. I will also get several more uses out of this bag.

Excellent product
I don't usually write reviews but I was compelled to do so for this rooftop cargo carrier. I bought this based on the reviews others have shared and I can tell you now this product far exceeded my expectations. I bought this to carry extra baggage, camping gear, fishing equipment, and blankets across the country. I drove from the Indianapolis area to visit family in Billings, Montana and the from there out to Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington...and then all the way back to Indy. I reached speeds up to 90mph and went through various weather conditions including scorching heat over 100 degrees and major thunderstorms. This container, made of durable canvas and weather-resistant lining, went all the way from the Midwest to the Pacific coast without ripping, fraying, coming loose, flying off the car, or damaging my roof. The only thing that happened that I need to point out to prospective buyers is that the container is water-resistant, not waterproof. During the storms a small amount of water seeped in through and got some of the contents wet towards the front. I think this can be easily corrected by scotchguarding the fabric before using it.Overall I give this cargo container an A+ for durability, design, price, and exceeding expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive cargo carrier.

SO HAPPY I GOT THIS!
We are a family of 7, myself my husband and 5 kids ages 13 to 15 years old. We go on 2 vacations a year and I'm so happy I purchased this because it made our recent vacation to North Myrtle Beach so much better with the 4 hour drive. I forgot to take pictures of it loaded on top of our Escalade but it gave our kids SO much more room to be comfortable on the ride. We were able to fit even more on the way home from purchases we made during vacation. We had Boogie boards, 2 extra large tote bags and about 6 book bags in it and still had extra room. It does take a few minutes to get packed then strapped down but it's well worth the price and quality. It is completely water proof we drove through a few down pours and 2 really bad thunder storms that had us nervous but as long as you strap it down correctly it doesn't move and my husband wrapped the straps up to where they didn't flap or hit the Vehicle while driving. I did include a picture of a small lock we used on the zipper for safety while the vehicle was parked that fit perfectly in the zipper holes but this is well made very sturdy, heavy duty but light weight and easy to pack up when not in use. I already have family and friends asking to borrow it. I also want to add our Escalade has a luggage rack so I don't know how it will do on a vehicle without one but on ours it's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend.
