Men's Irish Wool Sweater, Full Zip, Front Pockets, Lined Interior, Gray

This is a nice-looking sweater. The lining is fleece around the collar and a cotton lining elsewhere -- but no lining inside the cuffs. It definitely keeps me warm. I'd like to be able to give it a higher rating, but a couple of issues prevent me:1. It is a pretty generous cut. I much prefer a fitted cut (especially because I am pretty slim). But it's not egregious, and maybe this is the traditional fit of Aran sweaters.2. The zipper is weird. I don't care about the zipper being on the "women's" side -- this is 100% a men's sweater -- but the pull isn't the normal flat-but-wide shape; instead, it is perfectly round, about 3/16" diameter and 3/4" long. This makes it harder to find and get a hold of. In addition, although it is a "high quality" metal zipper, it gets stuck sometimes (not in the fabric of the sweater; just by itself).3. The waist of the sweater has an elastic cord running through it, and the elastic is adjustable -- you can cinch it tighter (and I do because of the loose cut). But when you cinch it tighter, the extra elastic sticks out in loops on both sides, which looks very strange. I plan to tuck the loops inside the sweater to hide them, and then use some safety pins to hold them there, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do this.

This wool sweater is wool. The lining is cotton, while nice to the touch, defeats the wool is warm when wet use of a wool sweater. it is OK. if it was not for the hassle of returning things I would return it.The knit pattern in only 7 inches on either side of the zipper and is barely visible. go buy one that has the pattern on the whole sweater.The zipper is on the wrong side. it is fine but the muscle memory of zippering makes is awkward.It has that nasty army surplus warehouse smell to it that I hope will leave after washing and some airing out.overall overpriced and not worth the money but a nicely fitting serviceable sweater.

Beautiful and well-made sweater. Substantial and sturdy. Very warm!

This sweater is super warm. He loves it for hiking and for sitting at home on a cold winter night.
